LV can never pull off the Chanel look.

It's intricate, but definitely doesn't scream out LV to me.

I had a call recently from LV (I have a rep at LV store who gives me preferential treatment) and they offered me one of those bags to purchase (it was a runway bag)- and there is NO WAY I would buy that one...I will not spend more than $3,000.00 on a purse- I usually stick to about $1500...that is just what the ones I end up liking cost...there are so many fabulous bags out there...I see no purpose to spend more...I do not really like that one- I do Chanel instead- when going for that look or style.

I know what you mean. The fringe Speedy is $3800 CAD (appr $3,300 US) and I think it's more ridiculous thing ever!
