how long does it take for the patina to start changing?!?!?!

Depends.

Heat + oil = more patina

But as long as you don't dump water on it or have really really dirty hands then your bag should have an even patina. It looks nice if done correctly. There are also some sprays you can buy that slow down patina.

It depends on how often you use your bag. You can start seeing a slight change of colour for as soon as weeks if you use it often.

Some protector spray can help water mark to give it a more even patina.

I haven't seen any patina yet on mine. I typically carry it with my wrist (not sure if that makes sense) so it's not exposed to a lot of oil.

that's how i carry mine too...i'm just worried that it'll turn black under the handles cuz i wear lotion...haha...

i think i see a change in mine..but it might just be wishful thinking.
