The bag is real. HOWEVER note all epi pochettes prior to 1998 (or early 99) hook the strap to the zipper. The ones later had an extra hook on the side for the strap. When it's being hooked to the zipper, sometimes the zip gets pulled open while you're carrying it. (I am not sure if I am describing it well). It can get pretty annoying.

Coach does the same thing to their bags or at least used to...it's why I stopped buying those...

So it does CLOSE when the zipper is all the way over right?

If you've seen this color, is it realllllly like a cornflower blue? She's got a green one too that I liked...

That's the older blue colour and it does resemble cornflower from Balenciaga.

The bag does close tight when you zip it up. It's only when you are carrying it, the zipper can pop open.

that's upsetting as I have enough trouble keeping my purses upright, never mind deal with a zipper issue...
