| | | How to clean the light leather on LV purses? Hey gals, I need help. I got a dirt smudge on the light leather part of my purse. How do I clean that off??
The part I'm specifically talking about is the bottom corner of the COUSSIN bag where the seams come together, it has a dirt smudge. And since I just got this for my birthday I'm a little miffed it's already dirty. So how do I clean it??

| | | Becks, you can try a couple of ways. If the dirt mark is still pretty new, I'd just try to wipe it with baby wipe. That should at least lighten it. Another way is to try leather CPR or saddle soap. Some people use Mr Clean magic eraser BUT I'd only only recommend it for an older and beat up purse as it dries the leather out.
I usually spary my purses especially the vachetta leather (the name of the untreated leather used in most in then monogram line) before I use. I just use the Wilson leather spray. It's a great protector from water and dirt. Other ones I hear people use are Apple Guarde and Shinny Money.
Hope this helps. |

| | | Epi usually doesn't get dirty like vachetta unless it's really light colour. You can try Leather CPR. What colour is yours? Light colour epi is hard to clean though. |

| | | Vernis is hard to clean. I had heard of using nail polish remover but didn't work for me. The vernis version of papillon is called Bedford. Vernis bags are named in English. Vernis is a beautiful line but it needs to be handled more carefully. |

I did try the baby wipe and as soon as I wiped it off it made the leather so dark cuz it was wet and I almost lost my mind thinking I totally just f-ed up my brand new $800 purse. Well of course it dried and now looks great. But boy was I paranoid for a sec there!!

If it works our please let me know. YOu might want to consider spraying a protector on the leather. I think it really helps. Now again some spray does darken it too but will be okay once it's dry. |

Yellow is not as bad as my lilac, which I have tried almost everything to clean. I guess try leather CPR? It helped a little on my lilac but didn't take off all the dirts. The nice thing about leather CPR is it moisturizes the leather as well. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
