LOL. I don't hate speedy. I have 2 and there are total of at least 5 speedies in my family! I just can't bring myself to carry a mono speedy. On a good day, I see about 20 of them when I go to the mall.

im not the biggest fan of the speedy either! it's just too inconvenient for me.. im not a handbag person; i NEED to be able to carry things over my shoulder unless it's a clutch. i carry alot of crap so my arm would be dying if i had to lug stuff around in a speedy all day. the only actual speedy i like is the damier because i love everything damier. even though i know it's totally impractical i want a damier speedy because it's probably the only thing i could afford from the damier line now.

you hit the nail on the head! I carry so much crap with me (books, camera, cell phone, a drink, food, makeup bag, gum, lots and lots of papers for school) that I need to be able to sling it over my shoulder. I love damier, too. It makes my heart go bump-bump. I want my first LV to be a damier pap...I haven't decided which size I want, yet.

LOL I'm not a speedy fan either.. I've only seen old ladies carry them so far. And I'd be paranoid about turning the handles black from using it so I'd end up never carrying it either.

i dont know why. but i love speedies! its my goal to collect a speedy in each line. so far i only have 2 speedies. hehehe. but i'll probably pass on the nomade tho. its kinda masculine in brown and not to mention very pricey.

at first i didnt like them either, until u really carry it, u realize that shit, it looks good! i want to get a monogram 30 speedy so bad tho, but i will probably get a second hand one with a nice patina, i cant handle a too white vachetta, and if i spill something on it, i'll be staring the water marks forever.

so if anyone sees a good deal, post it up!

the shape of the speedy is beautiful, but it needs a detachable strap or something for the shoulder carriers.

is it true that LV is going to have another new one? something like the damier, but instead of it being brown on darker brown.. its going to be gray and white? did anyone hear that?

Yes, it's called the Azur line. It's a lighter version of damier. I believe it's coming next spring/summer. Let me try to find pics.

I love the azur line, but I would just be afraid that the patina would age and then I think it would look odd against the greyish-blue and cream damier pattern. (I feel so smart being able to say all that!)

Very true, Mikayla, that's why I use more damier or epi these days.

I love damier. It's probably my favorite pattern, over Multicolor, Monogram, Perf (which is ugly IMO) I just love it. Plus, you don't see everybody and there mom with it, which makes it even better. but I have to say if I had the money...I would buy a fringe speedy...those are beautiful.
