Authenticate LV Croissant GM??

Hi, all! I was given a couple LV bags, and I'm too embarrassed to ask if they are real lol Please help me authenticate this Croissant GM.. TIA!

Thanks for taking a look, LouisV! I'm 99% confident that it's a fake due to the date code being stamped in a random place on the inner lining. It's not along the seam or inside the pocket, which is where I heard it should be. That's pretty much a dead giveaway, right?

That looks fake to me...but I recommend using 3rd party professional authenticator to be absolutely clear before buying

You're right, the datecode placement is definitely odd.
