Please authenticate Damier Azur Belt

Hi,

Can you kindly authenticate this Damier Azur:
http://s1144.photobucket.com/albums/...ckm/?start=all

The only problems I find with this are:
1. Belt starts with full square rather than most authentic ones with half filled square (though I've seen some full ones too with receipt)
2. Size is 105, but on LV Website there is no listed size 105
3. The shade he says is pinkish but original Damier Azur is creamish/white kind of a shade.

Thanks in advance.

Fake. The dustbag in this picture:

Where it says "LOUIS VUITTON" on the dustbag should be placed on the bottom, not centered.

Thanks for your response. Apart from dustbag do you notice anything unusual in belt itself???

The LV buckle is too thin/curvy to be authentic, making it a fake.

Thanks again.

I'll upload one more picture of buckle alone with greater clarity because in person the logo (especially L) looks very thick which might not have been captured in currently uploaded pics.

Here is one more belt from eBay which seller is claiming as authentic: Louis Vuitton LV Initiales Damier Graphite BELT!! | eBay

This does have a dustbag which has LV in middle rather than bottom. Do you think these might belong to a different batch or production year or more recent changes done by LV???

Sorry for bothering you more but there are very few LV stores in India and pretty far from where I live so I cannot go and check there by myself and I am willing to own one, but online is full of fake shits (some evidently cheap and some more realistic ones)

LV belt dustbags will NEVER have the "LOUIS VUITTON" wording centered. It will ALWAYS be located on the bottom.

Plus, the belt link you posted is fake aswell.

Here's my tutorial on spotting fake LV belts:

How to Spot a FAKE Louis Vuitton Initials Damier Graphite and Ebene Belt « jeedeesales

Hope that helps.

Hey this was very useful. Are you MustangMan07 on youtube???

One more belt on Ebay:
Louis Vuitton Belt 95cm Mens Waist Size 32 To 36 | eBay

Just posting in this thread as comparing to your guide, the buckle should be centered in second full square which doesn't seem to be doing over here. Might be due to picture. And he also mentions something about booklet, where the hell did that booklet come from????

That's also a fake because on the 5th picture, the buckle is covering the full square slightly.

Graphite belts/Ebene belts will NEVER have a buckle covering a full box.

Thanks jeedee. I got myself authentic Damier Graphite today .

Now look at this guy:
LV Initials Damier Graphite Belt 100% Authentic 100CM | eBay

He is claiming he has got this authentic belt from a store but again as you mentioned the buckle does not cover second full square(or third square if counting from first properly). The buckle should be centered around the third square as mentioned in your guide.

When it comes to LV, eBay sucks because 99.99% of them are fake and people are not hesitant to spend 200-300 bucks on fake ones.

All the belts you posted are fake. Do yourself a favor and buy belts at the boutique. Chances are slim to none that you'll find a legit one on ebay.

That belt you posted is fake aswell. Yes, there are alot of fake LV belts on eBay, but if you know what to look for, there are some authentic ones that pop up once and a while.

People often spend 200-300 for a fake one because they don't have the knowledge to get it authenticated. That's one of the reasons why I created my tutorial so buyers don't get scammed.

@Epicure
That's a great suggestion but we don't have many LV boutiques in India (not a single in proximity) so I've to rely on Internet. But thanks to you guys I can atleast tell the difference now and get myself a genuine one.

@jeedee
Yes its a very helpful tutorial . I'll more than happy to spread the word around. Also try to buy Inventeur sometime and post its authenticity tips too because now I think the trend is moving towards Inventeur and it is even more expensive, so people will be scammed for more money
