I have the bucket and I think it's real too. The fakes ones I have seen have the "suede" lining.

Well, I took my bucket into LV for repair, to get binding replaced b/c it was cracking but they wouldn't repair b/c they said the lining wasn't authentic! I was so upset b/c I really thought it was authentic too (just got it off ebay but didn't mention that to the SA). I was hoping to slowly get parts of the purse replaced but if they won't repair it due to authenticity, I don't know what to do! Obviously, they know more than me since they are the LV experts but it's just so frustrating since I think it's authentic as well. I was so embarrassed going into Saks to pick up my "fake" purse. What should I do now?

wow!! I thought it looked real myself (i'm not an expect what so ever) but it looked real!!!! What I would do is get a second opinion first, caroldiva.com she will definitely will tell you if it is real or fake!!! she does charge $5-10$ not sure how much!! then from there if it is not real.. contact the seller asap!! if she doesn't responded go through paypal assuming that is how you paid!! GOOD LUCK!

Lining looks real to me. Take it to a different LV store or ask to speak with someone who specializes in repairs. They usually have a person at each store that knows more about Repairs. Too many new SA's don't know what they're talking these days but won't refer you to speak to one that knows.

Yeah, I don't really know that much about LV so I trust the repair people more than my personal knowledge but I really the lining is authentic. We only have 2 stores here in Atlanta so I'm kind of worried about going to the other store to ask for a second opinion ( I went to Saks first) b/c if they say the same thing, then I would be so embarrassed to show my face in there again! I got the purse on ebay but I know not to tell the SAs at LV that but I do want to get a second opinion. I even got it authenticated on another forum and they said it was real too! Like I said, I don't know a lot about authenticating LV (which is why I ask you guys but this time, I think they are wrong.

I would definitely take it to a flagship store instead of a LV counter at department stores especially when it comes to repair. I don't know if they even have anyone specializing on repairs at department store rental space.

Good luck.
