| | | Need Help Identifying a Bag so there is (was) a bag, and it is (was) red, and it is (was) what I think is vernis, a shiny patent-leather kind of feeling material with the monogram stamped in, and the shape was like a pouchette. Are these faked? Do these even exist? If the answer is no-yes, I'm going to shoot myself in the head (figuratively, of course!).

| | | oh thank you for saying that. the other LV they had (it was a resale shop) was a fake monogram pouchette (I could actually tell!) but this one looked awfully convincing to me. I just hope it was fake, becuase it was there like 3 months ago and I would be kicking myself right about now for not buying it.

| | | Oh hah! you meant on the outside. I thought you meant monograms on the inside of the bag. I was like er? never seen fakes like that before.
there are a lot of fake lexingtons out there. Be careful. |

| | | Most fake lexington or vernis for that matter have wrong lining. The real ones should come with matching colour leather-like texture lining with no zipped pocket like many fake ones do. |

| | | thanks, asiandiva, it was fake! that helps a lot! so in this case, the lining would have been red with no inside pocket? awesome!

| | | Yes, for lexington, the lining should be red with no inside pocket. However the 2nd one you posted is a Reades PM (means smallest size), and has canvas lining with a zip inside pocket. |

| | | I know what PM and GM mean! I kinda figured that out on my own...I don't know much else than that, lol. Thanks, it's good to keep all this in mind, I need to learn, even if I don't carry LV I don't want to be LV-stupid!
