Thanks Linda! I need to buy my babe his first pair of PD, what could I get him into soon? He's a very large almost 6 month old, wearing lots of 12mos clothes

If I thought my kids wouldn't blow the knees out within the first few wearings, I'd get them a pair. Although, I'm a bit concerned how their peers would react to PD ... we're rural and John Deere, camo and hunting gear is pretty common. hahahahaha

My boys are 7 and 10 and it's an unfortunate fact of life that their pants don't last like they used to. I can pass down shirts, etc but pants stopped getting passed down a few years ago. I just gave away the last batch of pants that I could (sz 5s and most if not all belonged to my 10yo as well lol)

ETA: I really wish they were easier on their clothes. I could have a lot more fun buying them stuff (which I LOVE to do lol) but I get tired of it getting ruined so quickly. hahahahah

Personally, I find TR jeans to be much higher quality denim than SFAM and R&R. They hold up much better, even with active kids.

And going for shorts is a bit safer too...saves the knees! I'm so tempted to get the Sophies in the mall from you and Cat!

ETA: then pair with knee-hi socks, leggings, leg warmers or tights when it gets a bit colder out. Very cute!

Discogirl we are same situation here. Totally rural area. I don't care. No pd for the boy though. I bought him a few pair of 7fam an first day he wore them came home with blown knees. No more for him lol. The girl is better though so I let her wear them. She is wearing TR today but I don't really care what others think. Even my husband was skeptical but as soon as he saw her first pair if TR on her he dropped any complaint. The fit blows any other jeans she has had out of the water. Now he doesn't say a word.

Oh while it's on my mind is there fake kids pd out there? I haven't seen any I don't think and kids pd is so scarce I was assuming probably not but wanted to ask anyway I can tell fake from real 7fam most of the time and I am getting better with Some TR but can only tell R&R if they are particularly bad fakes. I just want to be sure I am not grabbing fakes for my girl.

Oh heck yeah there is fake Kids PD out there!

TR, SFAM, R&R

Plenty. I'll look later for examples. On my phone ATM.

Kids TR is the sturdiest denim of all those PD brands.

Thanks I would love to see some examples. Kids pd is so scarce overall it seems I thought maybe it didn't exist. Naive of me I guess.

Now I need to get taking some pictures of some kids stuff that has the potential to be questionable. Thanks so much for your reply

I was wondering if it was faked. I had a few pairs of Joes Jeans in my watch but deleted them before having them authenticated. I may look for them again to see if they were real. My kids love skulls and I know they would have loved the pair I was watching.

My son has some Joes Skulls (skinnies) and they are so super cute! They run bit small though. My son is a 4/5 and his are 5's and too small.
These are the same pair:

Thanks for the heads up that they run small; that was the pair/style I was looking at.

I was all excited to see this thread thinking I was going to get some free advertising, I have hella kids BINS on ebay right now and none of these are mine! Same, similar or even better prices! lol man what does a girl need to do to get recognized! lol

My little guy has a few pairs of PD (he's 19 months now). Only wear it for shopping trips and special occasions (NEVER for daycare!). I refuse to spend over $50 a pair, which is actually hard....there are a lot of crazy moms out there bidding way more than that...especially on TRs (which I do agree are really good quality - the 7FAM I've picked up have been pretty good too, Diesels I have definitly had problems with, still looking for my boys first pair of Rocks but they are becomming scarce).
