your kids artwork! post your favorites!

i know this has nothing to do with clothing, but i thought it would be fun!

these two in particular, are forever stuck on my refrigerator.

zachary drew this in class in the 2nd grade
it's Plankton, peeing AND pooping.

this one is very special to me.. ricky did this when he was also in the 2nd grade (he'll be 21 this year!)
i can only imagine the look on his teachers face when she read it!

translation:
My hero is my Mom because she saves me and she takes good care of me. My Mom doesn't leave me in the car. My Mom saves me from death. My Mom saves me from murder and fires and robbers.

Haha, I remember seeing that Plankton one. HILARIOUS.

The one from Ricky is so adorable but also super funny.

I could show you guys the artwork that Trey has done ON his clothing and then this thread would tie into the whole clothing thing. I can't tell you how many shirts he has ruined with permanent marker. And it's his favorite ones too. I think he just thinks its cool. (He is 4)

Abram at 106 years old...his teeth have migrated but otherwise he looks to be in ship-shape.

I will find the picture that he colored for Black History Month. He decided Martin Luther King needed more hair and he ended up making him look like George Jefferson from The Jefferson's....I almost peed my pants. It is a must see. And since he is only 6 it cannot be seen as offensive because children are honest....let's face it.

TOO FUNNY!! I love how kids "interpret" things

Nola - Love Ricky's plankton!! LOL!! And the part about how he loves his mama because she doesn't "leave me in the car"

I'll have to find some of Sophie's stuff. Some of her drawings are hilarious!

My kids seem to mostly draw Star Wars battles or Diary of a Wimpy Kid-esque cartoons.

I should take a picture of the drawing my 10yo did of his 'dream' house. It's quite amusing actually.

This is what my then 2.3-year old son drew with a marker on the fridge magnet thing (not only there, he drew on the fridge and freezer as well, of course ) When I saw it I was amazed and called my husband to show, as it was the first thing resembling a man which he had ever done, when we asked who is it, our son replied: "Daddy"..

Btw, my husband wears some black-framed glasses and has a stubble.

My son's school puts their projects on Artsonia. I just moved a few of the images to my photobucket account

This is his (kindergarten) interpretation of Van Gogh's Sunflowers

They did a Monster exhibit the first part of the year:

They did an art class about the book "Where the Wild Things Are":

Here is his drawing of their field trip to the farm

He turned 6 in February.

These are all from this year's Kindergarten art classes. At his elementary school, all the kids (Kindergarten through 5th grades) have art class once a week.

It is funny because when he draws at home, he does not have the patience to draw with this kind of detail.

ETA, my kid is a geek (like mommy) and would rather sit around and do math challenge books than coloring books. So, to see this type of art is really exciting for me
