IMO, they do not look real. The seam on the bottom of that one bag looks way off. Did you find these on ebay? I get emails from a guy that has what is called the "7-star" replica and his pictures always come from webshots. Good luck with your search!

I agree. They dont look authentic. Where did you get them? The Gucci font on both bags looks wrong. The serial numbers behind the inside tags look like they are crooked and blurred together as well as the word "Gucci" on the front of the tag. The pic where you actually show the whole bag from the front (the brown one) the "leather" looks way too shiny to be real. I vote fake on both.

The photos were taken by me since I had bought them already. Both from HF members. The smaller bag is actually a make up bag, does that change anything?

you bought these from HF members? were they long-time hf members? I would never ever buy something like this unless I really really really trusted the person not to rip me off.

The small one was posted to HM and there were over 10 posts but no one once questioned it's authenticity. There were lots of pictures too.

The seller of the large one promised a refund but it's taking a while. I trust that she'll come through.

The seller was NOT asantoso. That is a mistake. When HF updated, all the posts got screwed up.

that price seems a tad too good to be true-and I never would have bought from them...I don't know them or their username well enough to be able to trust them.

Liz I'm so sorry you ended up with two fake purses

The only things I noticed were that the first bag's serial number should be in two rows instead of being all together on one line. The second one's serial numbers were crooked (as mentioned before) and the controllato card is really off on that one too. Real gucci controllato cards are small and rectangular with a strip of dark green that says gucci on it and the numbers 1-0 on the white part. Sometimes the dustbag can also help determine authenticity. I enclosed some pics from my gucci cosmetic case so you know what to look out for next time =)

(Here's the serial number for my cosmetic case.. the # of numbers on top and bottom aren't indicative of anything.. just make sure there are two rows and they're straight)

you need to bring this up over there as well, if you haven't already, so that that member hopefully gets dismissed. that is not nice what they did.

I dont really know anything about Gucci bags, but that really stinks that you got a fake purse (especially considering it came from HF.) I hope you are able to work out a refund with the sellers...keep us posted.

I remember this listing. I hope you can get it resolved. This is why I only buy from members who have been around for quite a while.
