An idea for the section

Ok, I have run across problems in getting authenticity checks from this area of the forum...it's not anyones fault...but,

I think it would be great if we could have a sticky with brand/designer listed and then a list of members who feel comfortable with authenticating that designer. For instance:

BURBERRY:
memberID
etc.

This way if we have a question regarding a particular designer we can PM that person/those people and get help a little quicker ideally.

Just a suggestion. Thanks for taking the time to read!

thats a good idea...which brands do you want included on the list?
i think that it might be hard to find people who have a lot of expertise in certain brands though.

every little bit helps. maybe just open it up to who feels comfortable authenticating and see where it goes?

I have personally been in search of burberry, chanel, dior, prada, marc jacobs here lately. I'd for sure like to see these and any others that are of interest...I just think that it might expedite the process of authenticating items before and auction ends.

I agree with mejumpmore. Alot of those brands I can tell obvious fakes and then some other i cant. I'm ok with gucci but the others its a little bit harder for me.

i can make a sticky once i have a list started of some people who are willing to authenticate over PM. i am good at telling when someone is a blatent fake seller (many highly faked items at a low price) but its harder when they are selling a bunch of random stuff they own and a lot of their stuff looks good but i dont want to say for sure something is auth.
