Happy Day at Neimans- they are pre-selling for sale on Friday- most Juicy will be 40% off- of course except for the stuff I picked yesterday- Got 2 more pair of the cropped knee lenght terry snap pocket bottoms- in Bright Green & Bright pink- I have 10 pair now- I love those
also got Turquoise Hoodie with smocking and green/white/yellow threading in the smocking- with charms on the hoodie string-

also got first pair of Peoples Liberation Jeans- getting hemmed- they are so cute- they have the star flap pockets on butt-

oh- and SFAM Dojo Nakita crops- and tons of Makeup- which I rarely wear- but am starting to enjoy the "cosmetics counter" in my dressing room- it is fun!- good shopping day yesterday- happy today

Ok- long story short- my personal shopper called me on monday to tell me about the presale at neimans starting on friday- and they would pull everything they know I like off the floor for me to view- then hold for me...ok, so I went last night and she was not working- and the sales person who helped me- was confused and thought the 2 jackets (described in prior thread) were not going to be marked down- so I picked out the stuff they knew for sure would be marked down - and put it away for me...well PS called me today while grocery shopping- and said ALL JUICY WILL BE 40% off on Friday- and to bring in my receipt from last night stuff- and they would give me that price- plus they are having 25-40% off already marked down too- and my Neimans has THE BEST SELECTION- lots of hard to find- and rare stuff- I know they had the P in the white one I got- I did not know your size- so she pulled ALL the white ones off the floor until I call her back with your size....they have TONS of Juicy- any requests? The store has WAY more than what is online...anyway- they can also locate items and have them transferred for me too. I get total VIP treatment there- which is nice all the time- but especially when locating things for others- I have goten several RARE items for people on HF- just to be nice- because I am...
Anyway- if anyone wants anything- let me know and I will have her hold it for the sale for me...

I wish I had a personal shopper!

It is really nice...in most ways- in others I spend waaaay tooo much money- and have too many clothes- but I love clothes- and there are too many beautiful/cute things out there. I get first "dibs" on everything that comes into the store- before it hits the floor- which is also dangerous for the credit card- I guess the more you spend- the better they treat you...I also own my own business- and am on a very tight schedule- so the PS helps a lot when I am low on time...My 15 year old daughter (16 in OCT) thinks it is great...lol...She and I shop together a lot- We hit Neimans like 5-10 times a month- and they also will let us shop after hours- we get this HUGE dressing room (like the size of 20), with beautiful furniture and a platform in front of the mirrors, they feed us gourmet treats, and always have little cans of Diet Coke chilled on ice waiting for me...(for free) but I guess it makes up for it in what I spend...it does feel nice to get the VIP treatment- My daughter and I have gone in our sleep-wear/lounge clothes before- and the sales people like the fact that we are so down to earth and not pretentious...I bring my friends and family there too- it is quite a unique way to shop- I feel like a princess when I am there...

that's exactly how they look at it too :-) that's nice of them to treat you well for shopping there often. i would love that but at the same time be petrified of how much money i would lose by getting to that point! maybe if i actually had a job!

oh my goodness somebody I've gotta make money. Not being able to have all this beautiful stuff kills me. Why couldn't I have rich parents?! Hehe, I love my mommy and daddy, they do the BEST for me, and I wouldn't change anything about my life, met too many awesome friends (and way too many PB's!) to give any of it up, even if it meant RETAIL clothing!

I have a small request. I have been looking for a pair of black velour cargo pants in a medium. Wrong time of year, I know, but I need to complete a set and can't get them in Canada.

The Neimans I shop at is in San Antonio, Texas...it is new- opened Oct 2005...until then- there was only Saks as far as Dept stores that I liked here- They built a fabulous mall- with Nordies, Tiffanys, soon to open Juicy Store, Betsey Johsnon, Anthropologie, Lacoste, Burberry, Puma, (lots of first time stores for this part of Texas) Similar to a "mini" Galleria...I live about 70 miles southwest of Austin, and 35 minutes from the morst northern edge os San Antonio... I actually live on a lot of land- on a spring-fed creek- it is beautiful out here- like an enchanted forest...I grew up a total city girl- loving to shop- My dad is a Real Estate Attorney- and owns several Title Companies- after some rough years from 18-25 (bad choices on my part)- I rebuilt my life and started my own company out here in this part of Texas- 2 Land Title Companies...My dad always made a lot of money- but taught me to work for anything I wanted- my parents have always been into high fashion- and cars, watches, etc...but I had to earn mine- I must say though- that I had the opportunity to earn these things- that lots of people do not have...My grandmother was born and raised in Dallas, and was one of the first investors in Neiman Marcus- which we got a 40% discount on ANYTHING from Neimans until she died 2 years ago- so I kind of grew up in Neimans- I could not go in one from the time she died until this one opened...My hubby is real down to earth- and wishes I spent less- however I work very very hard- some nights til 4am and I get up at 6:30...about 1/2 of the month I work about 70-90 hours a week, and the other half 20-40- I justify my shopping as my reward for frying my brain on work- it is my stress relief...haha I wish I had more friends out here to shop/hang out with-
