excuse my ignorance on US sizing

I have a terry hoodie in S. it goes on 'fitted' over a t-shirt, not too snug, but not too roomy either. I'd say it's the right size for me.

would XS size fit? how much smaller is petite compared to small?

oh yes. I can do a small (fits just like you're talking) but a P is sooo small. I'm an XS small top, everything, and they are itsy bitsy.

for me, P and S didn't make much of a difference and I'm an XS in all shirts too and I have big boobs! Both of them fit me pretty much the same way although the P was a little bit tighter and shorter.

think I saw Juicy measurements in one of the auctions, there's like 2" difference between M and S in the chest... but they didn't have measurements for P

maybe I'll get a hoodie in P just to see

i wear xs in everything and P fits me perfectly. Not too tight, doesn't look baggy either.
