washing juicy.... ??? shrink

Hey guys. I just bought my first Juicy stuff... I got the Terry hoodie and pants (regular style) in goddard green which is beautiful from ShopTangerine w/ a 25% off coupon!! Yeah. I also have some white Terry crops coming from Mrstkeller....

Question is.... do they shrink at all esp in the length?? I don't want them to at all or the pants will be too short. I will wash them in cold but should I dry them?? Also don't want the jacket to shrink at all! Thanks.

They are 80/20 cotton/poly

The velour & terry do not seem to shrink at all- but I would say thet the fleece (100%) cotton may shrink a tad- but not enough to change sizes- it is minimal- I have about 40 Juicy suits- close to 80 pieces total- plus daughter is not far behind me- if anyone need comparisons I am happy to help-

WOW, I would love to see pics of your collections - I thought I had a lot of Juicy, but i am in total envy of you now! Most of mine are not sets, though i just went to my closet and i counted 30 hoodies. I would love to have more of mine in sets, but its so hard to put them together b/c i always have the problem that i can find one piece on ebay being sold by a legit person, but the other piece all i can find are fakes. *sigh*

I looove Juicy tooo!

When I get some spare time I will take pics...I also have the Juicy Coat- kind of Retro Brown/Black tweed with gold threading and removable fur collar- It was new this winter ($750)- I loooove it- however in Texas, I rarely wore it- I Love Juicy- I am 37- and have been collecting fo years- I have tons of terry- and velour- and have started mixing colors in them this year...this spring I bought 5 pair of the Knee lenght terry pants with the snap pockets on back- and wear different color hoodies/tanks...I work from home and have highschool daughter- and lots of pets- so they are great to work, lounge, run errands, and even sleep in if I am lazy...My daughter got the 2 piece red Juicy Terry swim suit recently- the bottoms are solid red with pink Juicy on the butt- and the top is pink & red stripe- every year we each get a new cover-up- she got the turquoise smocked tube dress- with yellow & green threads in smocking- and I got this Chocolate Terry one- almost Mexican Dress style- with smocking and pretty colored threads- and a flower embroidered on butt- and draw string with the gold charms on it-Can you tell I am obsessed- OMG- I love it- I pay retail for all of ours but- in the long run I do not have to worry about fakes- they are opening a Juicy Store any day now- next to my Neimans- I forsee an even more annoyed hubby! I will take pics- and if you want any for a sticky- I would love to help!

cotton/sweats

oh yeah- my daughter has tons of the 100% cotton suits- tons of jackets- I have several of the cotton jackets- but the pants are not so pretty IMO on my butt- I stick with velour or terry on my bootie

Where in TX is there going to be a JC store? I would go nuts there b/c i would want to buy everything. The only place near me that sells Juicy is Nordstrom and their selection isn't very good and everything is full price (poor college student here ) My recent Juicy finds on ebay are a smocked terry hoodie (one with colored stitching on the bottom) for $20.50 (retail $138.), floral embroidered hoodie for $46 (retail $148), 7 piece lot for $86 (thermal set with flower print, fleece set, 2 skirts, 1 shorts) and 3 raglan scoop neck tees for $16.
Right now, what am wanting so badly are these shorts to go with the hoodie i found:
http://www.shopbop.com/shop/product_...7&fm=crosssell
All i have been able to find on ebay are the fake sets

it is in San Antonio at our new mall called The Shops at La Cantera...it opened this past October- and San ANtonio only had a Saks before- now Neimans, Nordies, Tiffanys...etc....I live about 30 min from that new mall- and an hour from Austin-...this mall is the best- also- the Neimans- has GREAT sales- unbelievable finds- things I have NEVER ever seen so marked down- I think it is because it is such a new store for the area- and less people are into high fashion overall in San ANtonio- so they have excellent sales- even on rare jeans- it is insane- I bought a pink velour zip track jacket (no hood) for $26, and the matching pants for $26- about 2 months ago and sold it on ebay for $100 for the set- which was still a steal- I had my little fun selling on ebay- and I am over it now- what a pain... but Neimans has the BEST selections- even better than Nordies- I am going there today- and they are having a sale- I will check the racks for you...also we do not have a Last Call or Rack store in this city- so that also may be why such good sales. Unfortunately- I never find anything for ME on sale- but daughter gets lots of Juicy tops, and jeans on sale- like jeans from $329 to $86...I tend to buy lots of hoodies- because I will get soooo cold while shopping- and never think to bring a jacket- I recently got this pretty light yellow sweat hoodie- with smocked waist and cuffs- and pink and green logo of some sort on the back with green & pink crystals- very pretty and soft- I do want the matching pants- they make crops- but only have P when I look- I should have them get them from another store- anyway- if you are looking for anything in particular- let me know I am going today in about 2 hours...

You found that hoodie jetta? Wow, that's good work. I love that set, it's adorable. I prefer the yellow one though *wink wink* at anyone who might be reading this.

Pilatesgrrl> Your collection sounds so awesome! I don't have enough Juicy in my life.

I have tried everything to shrink my terry Juicy pants. They will not shrink! Not even with hot water and hot drying. I know now that I wear a size smaller in terry than in velour. I got two Juicy suits last fall for $80 a piece from Nordstrom online. They had an unbelievable sale and I lucked up and found jackets and pants in the same colors. My daughter is a Juicy freak now and will not wear the "other" track suits. eBay has good deals on authentic kids Juicy--I have purchased with success from several different sellers.

Agreed. None of my Juicy (terry & fleece) has shrunk, even on "hot" settings.

The thermals DO shrink in the legnth, A LOT. When I got mine brand new they were dragging the floor, inseam was around 34-35, washed once, inseam shrunk to just under 32, so now I have to take them out of the washer, stretch the legs out again, and hang dry them to keep them long enough to wear.

But the thermal hoodies are awesome!
