I feel like crap...

Ive been waking up every day feeling like craaap. I havent "worked out" like as in cardio/strength training since school ended back in May. Ive been eating so much garbage food. bleeeehhh. Every time I eat something, I feel worse, and my insides are not happy. Right now I'm sitting here drinking chamomile tea, this marks the end of my summer lazy ass binge. No more crap food and no more eating after 9pm Any good advice on what to do to refresh my body? Im obviously going to start working out again. But what about my insides? . I almost want to eat nothing for a few days and just let my body chill, but I know thats not healthy & a bad idea. Any advice on what to eat to make my tummy happy & healthy/normal again?

Start eating lots of fruits and veggies, whole grain bread and cut down on salt. Drink plenty of water.

yep! junk food has LOTS of sodium so youre probably feeling all bloaty and drinking water after salty foods helps prevents bloating.

have enough high fiber foods also (watermelons have lots, a great refreshing summer fruit)! you'll start feeling better in no time

Even a smoothie right now sounds too rich & Sugary. I feel bad, my body is so good to me and for the past few weeks Ive been brutalizing it with unhealthiness. Yea Im beyond bloated Im gonna start chuggin water.

Water is very good for you and what everyone else said about the fruit and veggies is good too. Basically, you need to flush out your body since the junk food look it toll. I hope you feel better soon.

There's no need to add any sugar to a homemade smoothie. I make mine with plain soy milk and fruits and that's plenty sweet.

One thing that will make you feel much better quickly is making at least half of every meal fruit or vegetables (or more). And have a salad at least once a day, preferably twice (with both lunch and dinner). You'll be feeling fantastic in no time!

^agreed with everything stated above. LOTS OF WATER (at least 2, if you can do 3 litres great since you are in the Miami heat + humidity). Go swimming!! and sweat it out to release those toxins once you feel capable of working up a sweat!

This happens to me every once in awhile (ok-a lot )...I find it helpful to decide the night before to start that next day. Starting with a plan on an empty stomach makes it easier for me to start with a clean slate. I call it "detox" (I even have a name for it ) I start with a banana & some water, get the kids loaded up & go to the gym. I definitley don't overdo it (cause I think that just makes me feel crappier) but a good hour sweating it out doing whatever makes you feel good. When I get home, I refuel with a small bowl of cereal...then I find it much easier to go through the day making those better meal choices. I shoot for doing that for a week, and hopefully by then I'll be feeling better & can make it more of a habit. Sorry for the longwinded response, but this happens to me so much & I thought I would share.
