FEMALE RANT! NO MEN ALLOWED! lol

yeah...that's right!

i felt like taking a moment to bitch and complain at how wonderful it is being a woman!

i'm so sick of every fucking month being struck with the little 'visitor'.
i mean.......c'monnnnn. NO FAIR!
if a man were to bleed for entire week every month.. he'd be DEAD!
if not dead...then surely on Disability.
w-t-f was mother nature thinking?
when a male goes through puberty, it's a freaking piece of CAKE!
it's ONE TIME! a little voice change! HA! that's it!

and AS IF that's not bad enough...we get the joy of bearing children.
yeah, sure- it's all fine and dandy-but WHAT THE HELL?
so, we get to be pregnant-that wonderful feeling of having a child within.
we then get to take a break from our cycles..only to swell up like a fucking watermelon...while our body takes on shapes that only a alien should be able to perform.
i swear i wish men could bare children because i'm so tired of when any male complains about any type of pain whatsoever..since they obviously have never been through mentruation, pregnancy or childbirth.
"sweetie...i cut my finger." Oh POOR BABY! maybe we can get you an epidural!

i'm pissed right now...cramping, bloating and in pain!
time to take a Midol..

End Rant :/

I totally hear you right now! I am dealing with the wonderful pms that goes along with it. All of it sucks...although, I would do anything to swell up like a watermelon just one more time!

Too funny! I totally agree! My poor cousin was hospitalized for heart probs for a couple days and had just started her period. She was so annoyed and kept asking her hubby if he would still love her if she wasn't a woman...

LOL Noles My mom is counting the days until menopause as well I, however, have a long ways to go until then, and I HATE it. My periods used to last over a week, but I switched to a lower dose pill and now they are much lighter and only about 5 days. My mom just takes her pills straight through so she just doesn't have to deal with it

One word: Mirena.

No periods, no PMS, no pain or bloating and best of all, no more babies!

Sorry you are having a crappy week, Nola.

As I hung my head over the toilet for the first weeks of all 6 pregnancies, I muttered your exact post in my head.

Men have no clue...

Blinding headaches, the ultimate bitchiness (bordering on psyco actually ). I say bring on menopause too

^Mirena is wonderful. However, I no longer have to worry about periods. One beautiful benefit of a hysterectomy.

Sorry about your week Nola....it will be over soon.

AMEN! I was like Anna for the first 6 yrs and saw no difference except for the annoying bleeding, but now my life is living hell for a few days each month. The migraines and cramps are awful & it really does interfere with life.

just because.

seriously .. my cycles were nothing before. i started late.. i think i was in the 10th grade!
they were always easy.. 3 days max.
as i got older, in my 20's, they were pretty normal...probably 4-6 days, just regular bleeding. nothing i couldn't handle.
after i had Zachary (i was 36 when i had him)..it has been nothing but down hill.
every month it gets worse. heavier bleeding for a longer duration. extreme cramps, headaches, bloating, you name it. it's like 20 times worse than before.
well, i'm 42 now and i'm sick of it.

i need chocolate.

I looove the Mirena too.
Five years are over in Fall though, so it has to come out then. I am so shaking in my boots just thinking about trying a bcp. (a new Mirena is not sensible, I want kids in two or three years)

ugh i feel (some of) your pain...am dealing with the lovely visitor right now

the best part is when your cycles are so jacked from living with 25 girls that you have no idea when it's coming!

btw, when i get "cramps" (actually not really bad as of yet, thankfully) motrin is the only thing that's worked for me...i take 2 but you could probably get away with one given your weight...midol doesn't do jack.

I feel this way every month too. It isn't fair that men don't have to deal with this!
I have noticed it has gotten worse (the pain and duration), the older that I get. I used to never get cramps now I am in serious pain for at least 2 days. I have always gotten irritable though. LOL
I agree that midol doesn't work. You need something stronger. Motrin or Excedrin should do the trick.

<----This should make you feel better too.

Ugh Same thing that happens to me. I call it "The Curse!" I never had anything like that until after childbirth & it is getting worse as I get older.
