Help. Fluttering in my lower Abdomen

I have had a constant fluttering / spasm type feeling in my lower abdomen for the past 2 days. It is on my right side almost level with my belly button but to the far right side. I hope that makes sense. I am freaked out about it. It does not hurt, but it is an odd, uncomfortable sensation. It is worse when I am sitting. I have searched google. I don't think it is my appendix. It is not a baby, lol. I swear it feels like something is kicking me from the inside out. Has anyone had this happen to them before. I do not like going to doctors, so I am hoping this is something that will just go away on it's own.

Did you eat anything different? I get all sort of strange sensations especially after exercise. It's usually best not to get freaked out. Mine usually go away.

No, I have not ate anything any different than usual and my lazy butt has not exercised in about 2 months, lol. I still have a very healthy appetite No nausea, so maybe it is just a muscle twitch of some sort. I might have squished something wearing my jeans too tight

I actually have had the exact sounding type of thing on and off since I was preggo in '06. Sometimes when I sit it feels weird for a sec like something is kicking me or popping in a funny spot (like that makes any sense). The main things on that side of the BB are your descending colon and gallbladder. Most likely it is nothing to worry about. I don't remember if you have any kiddos or not, but I know my body parts didn't all go quite back to their original location so I figure I feel things a little diff. now. Hope that helps in some way! If it becomes painful or just plain irritating then I would visit the doc.

If I am reading your post correctly I'm pretty sure I've experienced what you are and it was deffy not a pregnancy. My doctor said it was my muscles just doing weird muscley things and spasming and that sorta stuff and nothing to worry about.

That being said...I'd still call them at the very least to check it out.

I KNOW mine aren't pregnancy....IUC....among other reasons...so I don't think it signals prego for sure.

Sounds like it could be gas to me. I have even heard of gas so bad that people thought they were having heart attacks.

I don't know if it was gas, but one time I had a symptom like what outdoorzgirl described but it was actually on the left side of my chest! I was pretty freaked out, but I called a nurse at Telehealth Ontario (this phone service we have here) and she said that a lot of young people experience the same thing ...

outdoorzgirl, definitely go have this checked out if you're worried about it!

It sounds like a nerve twitching just like the kind that you get in your eyelid sometimes (or at least I do)

You would be showing if you were preggo and the baby started kicking--especially with your tiny body!

I get those feelings sometimes. I think its gas bubbles. I haven't taken notice if I farted later, though.

Sounds stomach related to me too, it could be gas or indigestion. I get the same discomfort on my right side and it is usually relieved by burping

Weird ToddlerMama I have the same weird sensation on the right side too, but only after I had Z. I had my gallbladder checked out but it was fine. Turns out it was anxiety causing my stomach to go on the fritz I'm better now though.

yep

Christine, you are very in shape dear, and when you work out.....or say quit for awhile , the muscles go ape shit.

I get the twittering in my arms all the time, it feels funny and looks like the skin is jumping LOL
It happens in mt biceps all the time, especially after messing with the horses.

stomach is on the left upper side, intestines on the right, it doesn't sound like it is deep so no worries, just sounds like muscles.

I would say however, if you get Cramping, or charlie horsing, then time to go to the doc.

MY Opinion though is it is just muscles

I get this ALL the time. It used to scare the shit out of me. I thought it was my heart palpitating. I went and got tests done and everything but nothing is wrong.

It finally quit this morning. It is slightly sore in that area, probably from where muscles were receiving an involuntary workout. They are most likely in shock since that is the biggest workout they have received in a couple of months. I guess my trips to the Golden Corral Buffet don't count as exercise It did remind me of an eye twitch, just in the stomach area.

I am quite sure I am not pregnant. I hope not anyway. That would surely be the death of me

This section should seriously be made to be about fitness and only fitness. Asking unqualified people for medical advice, who posts opinions as facts, and then often lacking the ability to critically evaluate advice, is a ticking time bomb. imo.

I'm just so happy that this thread is not about fluttering below the abdomen.
