| | | Zoloft withdrawal One word...BLAH! I took my last pills Thursday, have been trying to get hold of SOMEONE, ANYONE from the dr office to get more, and no luck Told hubby this morning, if this is what it's like going off drugs, I'm so glad I never got into anything harder than pot (which I haven't even done since before I met him). This is bad enough. I feel so dizzy, and I'm irritable. Not helping is having the neighbor girl here before school, she drives me NUTS! |

| | Hang in there April. I weaned off Paxil about a year ago and it was not easy. Drink some chamomile tea it might help take the edge off.
I am taking prednisone for my Crohns as we speak, and talk about NUTS!!!! Feel like I am gonna crawl out of my skin, and irritable as all hell

| | | So sorry April. My husband weaned from Zoloft about 4 years ago and it was a nightmare. He was able to go down super gradually, maybe talk to you Dr. when you get the chance about weaning by super small increments over a longer period of time. I hate it for you, but so happy for you that you don't need it anymore. I think that is wonderful. |

| | Well, apparently they called it in to the pharmacy on Friday...I went to the grocery store today and stopped at the pharmacy there to check, and there it was. Wish they had called me back and told me My dr does want to gradually wean me off it when I *do* go off, I hope that works better than cold turkey LOL I just took it, hope to see some improvement soon. I had called and left another message this morning, and the nurse called me back as I was on my way home, I told her that I had been to the pharmacy and picked it up, she apologized for not letting me know |

| | | No you can't just stop taking that stuff. You will have nervous breakdown. Be careful, girl. I'm glad you got it worked out.

| | | Were you not warned about stopping cold turkey? That can seriously fuck you up. You have to wean yourself down by slowly lowering the dosage over weeks. |

| | | ^This. And even when you wean gradually, you will still have effects. Glad you got your refill. |

| | | Yes, I understand that you're not supposed to stop cold turkey, which is why I was trying frantically to get a live person instead of a machine, and why I was so pissed when I thought that I was just being ignored. |

| | | Had I known earlier, I would have recommended going to emergency. It is an awful thing to go through. Not sure about zoloft specifically, but I have first hand experience with stopping celexa. It screwed me up big time. Hope you are ok. |

| | ^ Thanks, I'm feeling much better now Within a few hours of taking the pills today, the dizziness had gone away, and the bitchiness was started to recede |
