Splotchy skin on arms(backs)

I searched and did not find a thread on this.Does anyone have this problem on the backs of your arms? Ive seen it on others as well but I have no clue as to what causes it. I checked webmd as well.

For those of you with Keratosis Pilaris or Dermatitis- You must try this!!

There is no "cure" and there are no known causes.

Are the splotches itchy or sensitive? You could just need some extreme moisturizing.

My MIL has something like this... did you ever have a severe sunburn or use a product that would make your skin sensitive to the sun?

I have really splotchy skin on my upper arms, on the outside. It's like dead flaky super dry skin. I sometimes use eucerin plus intensive repair lotion, but I've never seen a total improvement. Then again, I'm not exactly consistent in applying the lotion.

Keratosis Pilaris?

Yeast Infection?

Here are two examples. I made the pics links instead because they are *NOT WORK SAFE* and the *2ND PICTURE is GRAPHIC*

If that is similar to what you have make an appt with your dermatologist or I can ask my sis (Cedars Sinai Resident specializing in Cardiology) to recommend an OTC fungal cream.
Not even close. No bumps or rough skin at all.I'll take some pics over the weekend. Thanks though
