Going to the Chiropractor Increases Pain?

i started going to the chiropractor maybe a year ago for posture correction reasons, not for any kind of pain. although it did help my posture, it seems like now when i do certain things or twist certain ways, my spine becomes "out of whack" and hurts until i go to the chiropractor again to get readjusted.

for example, whenever i ride my jet skis and hit a big wave or something, my back will start killing me the next day. yesterday i was working out and twisted my neck in an awkward way for some reason and i heard it crack, and now my neck hurts. i've never had these kind of problems before i started going to the chiropractor, has this happened to anyone else or are these just coincidences?

I've never been to a chiropractor but I've heard once you start going, you'll always have to go.

I went to a chiropractor for awhile after an accident in which some lady hit my car and almost totaled it (it was her fault so her insurance covered it), and they fixed all my ailments within a few weeks.

i've started and stopped going to chiropractors all my life with no problem. i have terrible posture (kyphosis) which gives me all sorts of back problems. you're probably using different muscles or increasing/decreasing the use of certain muscles which might make them more sensitive. i'm sure after riding a jet ski i would wake up in all sorts of pain the next day. i would just talk to your chiropractor about it.
