My dad does. Probably related to an old injury. It comes and goes continuously.

It comes and goes for me and its a pain in the bum. I was told this would happen and im pretty immune to pain (very high tolerance) but i have a bony chest area and it seems to act up if i even touch it.. I was pescribed 1800mg of ibuprofen a day (which, really, i cannot rationalize taking every day) but i was in the ER the other night and even the morphine they injected me with did not do a thing (But boy was it fun for a few minuites!) Is there anything else i could try? It is making strength training really hard for me as i have to cut back so much.. :/ I am looking for a good heated cloth or device of some sort to lay on my chest but until then, lots of warm baths and im limiting arm excersize (which i hope will only have to be temporary) .. Does it eventually go away if you take it easy or is it the kind of thing you have on occasion forever? xx

^ i believe its a chronic condition for most people ( i know it is for my bff.) i've had it before, and the only thing that worked for me was rest and anti-inflammatory meds. as for heat therapy, i would think a plain old hot water bottle would be best, as it will sit properly on your chest.

i would make sure you are fully recovered before you start back in with the training, otherwise it'll probably come right back :/

yeah, I got it last year and it still comes and goes. In addition, the first time I got it I it hurt so much that I couldn't lift my left arm or stand up completely without severe pain.
