Cellulite Creams

Has anyone used them and found them to be useful?

I have a problem with a bit of cellulite and uneven skin in my butt and hip area.

If you have had results, which one would you suggest?

None of them work. None has been proven effective. The most they can do is help your skin *feel* smoother. And maybe if you're convinced it works you see results...Just the same as with anti-aging creams.

^+1. I've used so many, what a waste of $$. The caffeine may tighten the area temporarily but it really doesnt do anything IMO.

I've heard endermologie works.

If there were creams that worked, no women would have cellulite.

*sigh* i know

It sucks though. I am so self conscious about it that i hate wearing bathing suits or even shorts (and i live in Texas, shorts are a requirement for survival in the summer).

Work out, base your diet on fruits and veggies, and hope for the best.

No offense Linds, but if you think you have cellulite that would keep you from wearing a bathing suit, you have some distorted body image going on...from your progress pics you are super lean and muscular and most women would die to look like you do.

I have bad circulation on one side of my body and was getting a small patch. I ended up buying a wellbox from blissworld.com and it went away.

The way I figure it is a round of endomology is 1200.00 and up. I'll have this for a long time, can do it when I want and it does a bunch of other stuff too. It does good anti-aging facials too. Expensive but worth the price to own it.

This is not true though, it's just what it claims to do. There's nothing anti-aging it can do (like increase collagen production and protect from UVA and UVB rays...).

Yea, I think 2 years but not valid without a receipt from an auth. dealer. So if you get one from ebay tell them you need the original receipt.

I'm sure it don't. However, it is a tapping type facial and it improves blood circulation so it can't be all bad. The cellulite treatment end of it is approved by the FDA for treatment of cellulite. One of the only products on the market that actually is. Bottom line is it works for the cellulite and if your considering endomology and don't have the time to go 1 or 2X a week to get treated this is a very good alternative. The other stuff it does is just a plus. There is a place on-line that rents them for 2 months so you can see if you get results before taking the 1700.00 plunge. I just can't remember the name of the site but if you google wellbox it will come up.

Have you tried applying Vitamin E oil directly on your skin? It definitely helps. (twice a day, in the area needed).

Buy Vitamin E capsules, open a cap and spread the liquid on your skin.

Topically applied vit.E has been scientifically proven to be pore clogging, but not to be doing anything else.
Even if it would have the potential to fight cellulite, it cannot penetrate deep enough to reach it.

I guess it doesn't have the same effects on everyone lol.

For me, I used to be skinny and then I started hitting the weights and gained a lot of muscle mass in a short period of time, and it gave me a couple stretch marks, so I used cocoa butter cream and Vitamin E oil and they've completely disappeared. My skin even looks and feels better than before.

I really want to go to a spa for endermologie. Here in "OC" - women are obsessed with looking perfect and I know a woman who had it done to the area right under her butt...saw her in the gym (Sorry, she walks around naked, you can't help it) and by end of summer it looked like her cellulite was gone. I was amazed.

Yeah, but that doesn't do anything with cellulite, does it?

Haha i so know what you mean about needing to look perfect. Dallas is known as the one city where everyone has plastic surgery and everyone wants to look perfect. I am used to living in a city where it is so cold that i can wear my jeans almost year round so it never really bothered me that much.

But now i am forced to wear skirts or shorts due to the heat in the summer and i am becoming more and more conscious about it.

From pics you can't really see my cellulite and i don't even know if that is what it is...it looks like my skin is a bit uneven and i guess "lumpy" not necessarily cottage cheesy. Even in areas where i have little fat it seems as though the skin looks odd.

I do have stretch marks from when i gained weight very fast in college but they have faded and aren't really that noticeable.

For one- the workout alone could have done that. Second, any kind of moisturizing would have done it if cocoa butter and vit.e did it for you. There is nothing out there that works for stretch marks- only retinoids can help if the marks are still red. And third- as EmilylovesLime pointed out already- we're talking about cellulite, not stretch marks.
