USPS "Notice left"

So today i was tracking my package and it says notice left. I went outside to check and there was no paper or anything of a "notice". It is the first time this had happen to me, so what should i do? I don't know what postal office it is, and i tried calling postal offices around my area but since its 6:31 i think they're all closed. Was there anything on the Notice paper i was suppose to call or need to know?

They will attempt again tomorrow, I'm pretty sure.

Call them tomorrow, or catch your mail carrier.

if signature confirmation was required and you weren't' home, they should leave a notice and then attempt to deliver the next mail day.
maybe it's under your porch rug or it blew away or something.

i was home, but i think they went to the wrong house. so there's nothing on that notice that i needed to fill out or call?

Why don't you check the mailbox. That is where they usually leave them.

Our mail would just immediately go to the closest post office to pick up. You can then show ID and pick up your parcel without your slip. I am not sure if it works that way where you are.
