Well, since she lives in MY condo, anything can happen. Plus, we work together, so that makes it kinda difficult. Because she is super nosy and goes through my stuff, I don't want her to steal anything, sell stuff, break my applicances, set my house on fire, etc. |

can you lock your important stuff up somehow prior to asking her to leave?
ETA: mine is also my condo and so it is tougher because it is all your stuff and your investment. i sympathize with you anna.

I think Zoki's idea is great. Lock up all the important stuff, give her only a couple days to leave so she doesn't have an excuse to trash the place and change locks afterwards
If it was me I'd be home whenever she was home just for that couple days to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid. I HATE crappy room mates

please tell me that you had her sign a lease. my lease states that they have until the 5th of the month, otherwise there is a late fee. my lease also states that at any point during the lease, i can ask them to leave with 30 days notice, regardless of how long they have been living there.
there is a price for your sanity, and "things" that are broke or stolen can be replaced, and new roommates can be found! i hope you are able to resolve this without too much trouble anna.

That's a sticky situation but i would suggest just telling her this situation is not conducive to a healthy working/living arrangement and you want to "SAVE" your friendship - suggest the situation would improve with her absence. But, you know, in a nicer way. Appeal to her pathos...you'll win. And get your sanity/place back!
