| | | I don't understand ebay bidders sometimes When I say that you need to have a confirmed address... why would you bid when you know that you DON'T?!
I state in my auctions TWICE that you need to have a confirmed address and people still bid.. I just don't get it. Do they just not read the auctions or something? And also, when I tell bidders that have less than 10 feedbacks to email me prior to bidding... what do they do? Bid anyway. Done ranting.

| | | I think the majority of bidders don't even know what a confirmed address is, even if they read it |

| | | I reckon I would ask questions if I wasn't sure of something in an auction. *sigh*
I hope this bidder decides to confirm her address..
I've had to re-list this auction twice already.

I put in giant bold caps that I won't ship internationally and I still get messages asking "Hi will you ship to israel?" I think most of them just don't read |

I think most of them just don't read | If I ever list anything again on eBay, which may be never, I will be sure to include that I do not ship outside of North America. I refuse to deal with any other country. I had issues selling a phone, put it in huge letters that I will NOT ship outside of the U.S. Phone sells, and where is winning bidder from? Belgium. What the fuck? |

| | | I do ship international but in my auctions, I only have info for Canada. They usually email me and ask me about shipping to other countries but this non-confirmed address thing, wtf? It's in RED at the TOP of my auction and even where I have payment information. I just don't get it.

| | | the thing is that even if you explain to people HOW to check to see if they are confirmed with PP, they wouldn't do it anyhow.
Just like you can state in 18pt in huge RED writing that you only ship within the US and you will still get emails asking to ship here and there.
....just like you can state the inseam and still get 10 questions asking.. |

Usually I try to avoid auctions where the seller states US only but if there's something I really want I email and ask if I may bid and that I'll pay for insurance and delivery confirmation and whatnot. Very few sellers have said no.

| | If you state: (which is what I do)
CONFIRMED PAYPAL ADDRESSES IN USA UK AND CANADA ONLY!
ALL OTHERS must use Bidpay!
That should cover you plainly though it doesnt always.
ONLY US UK & CA can even GET confirmed addy so it helps to weed out some of the people that think VERIFIED is the same as CONFIRMED.
You can also set your PP to accept ONLY confirmed payments but that will work only for US payments.
Why whine about 10+ FB?
I state ZERO to email before bidding, and they never do.
I don't cancel their bids....it helps create bidding competition...and pushes up the price.

| | | It is common sense. If it says in huge red letters, "IF YOU HAVE 0 OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, EMAIL ME BEFORE BIDDING." 99% of the time, they just bid anyway. What part of that did the bidder not get? I said it in huge red letters, and they bid anyway. It is just so damn aggravating that it makes me want to stop browsing eBay. Between the lack of common sense, and all the fake crap on there, I am really starting to loathe eBay. |

I know! I've had numerous buyers do this too.
I tell them they have to confirm through paypal and if they need help, to let me know.
I can tell a lot of them get frustrated and I tell them that this will benefit them later on.
