Today is National Bring Your Teddy Bear To School Or Work Day. I am totally the only 22 year-old in the world who celebrates it, but who cares?!

I can't transfer any of today's pictures to the computer at the moment, but here are some pics from last year ...

This here is Dippy checking my LJ. Notice that the way he is sitting does not provide any lumbar support.

Another view of Dippy sitting at the computer. Notice that all he's really good for is typing spaces.

Dippy brushes up on his TDG Clear Language.

BTW, it's also National Coming Out Day ... :rofl

That is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time! Oh if I had only known I would have brought Oswald to work with me today. I'm sure he would have liked to get out of the bedroom for a little bit :)

Doh! I actually completely forgot about it until this morning, otherwise I would have reminded the girls at work and potentially made a post about it yesterday. :( Oh well, Dippy is at your place of work in spirit ....... :rofl

dippy is helpful!

ot.....stuffed animals are spooky.
no they aren't you big baby.
ROFL! I used to have a fascination with stuffed animals (... I have TONS in storage at my grandparents' house). Dippy is the only one I keep with me now besides Beary. I like Dippy because he's a good huggable size.

I love those pics, Geoff! I laughed out loud.

I don't have a teddy bear, but I do have a black feathered owl with yellow eyeballs that looks like he flew out of the gates of hell. Does that count?
Sounds like you're set. :jumping

LOL Geoff, that is too cute! Your desk setup is very similar to mine at the lab...I really hate that lowered keyboard tray thing! Every time I try to roll my chair in closer while sitting cross-legged, I smoke my knees on the bottom of the tray. There's also a filing cabinet under one side of the desk and the computer tower under the other side, thus NO leg room. You'd think that someone out there would design a more ergonomic desk for people who spend hours each day sitting at one. Sigh. Anyway. I totally should have brought my little stuffed piggy to work. :rofl

That is beyond awesome. :p

No, the dolls are built as a twin for the future owner. You pick hair type, color, eyes, mouth, etc. I bit freakish IMO.
Creepy.......

I think someone should start a "post pictures of your favorite stuffed animal" thread!!

It may have died with the Gargoyles cartoon ... :(

I'm going to be young forever. I'm going to be young forever. I'm going to be young foever ...

[Edit]

It was actually ten years old A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO?! Wow. Time flies.

Now, if Dippy keeps sitting like that, he'll have back problems when he gets older. His feet really should touch the floor. :roflmao

The scary thing is that I'm not a lot better all the time ... which is HORRIBLE for someone who works a desk job ... :(
