opening a preloved shop

Hi. I need a few suggestions from some our sellers here :-) I'm planning to open a preloved shop (authentic luxury bags, watches and other accessories). But I can't decide yet if i will go for a personal online store or just create an account in ebay. I feel like that it is a bit easier to manage an account in ebay but competition is quite tough. Opening my own online store would probably help me to build a good reputation and i can set my own rules but website promotion might be tough. Don't you think? What could be some of the best ways to promote it? Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter accounts...what else could help? Thanks.

I've done this before. Any business whether online or not is real tough at the start. Anyway, social media platforms will help increase your potential buyers. But, that's purely basic. if you do have the budget, it will do you more good if you can invest for a seo optimization of your online store. This will help you to get more leads and thus can probably increase your sales. What I mean is, you can do internet marketing to increase your store's site visibility in search engine results.

Do you also mean that I need to hire a provider? Heard some of them like Demandwave . But I am not quite sure if it is really worth to throw cash on them. Thanks for your reply!
