Security tag removal help!

Okay, this may sound sketchy, but I need help removing a security tag. I bought a pair of capris on ebay from a respected powerseller from whom I have bought many times before. When they arrived, they had a big, black, plastic security device still attached! I am sure I can't remove it myself (duh, that's the point), so what should I do? Does anyone know of a chain store that uses this type, who might be able to remove it? Would they even be willing?

Thanks!

Did the seller note it in the item description?

That looks like a Saks Fifth Avenue security tag to me.

Do you have one of those vice grip thingys? I don't even know if that's what it's called, but it's a metal clamp type thing. When a sensor tag was left on a shirt I bought, my dad put it in that and just kept tightening it until it popped off.

ok nvm I can't find it lol

anyway those look exactly like the tags we ahve, and there should be no ink in them, just magnets. We have a strong demagnetizer-like device that loosens up the pin (the silver part), but I remember a forum member who managed to pull the pin apart far enough to cut it with garden shears (something like that? lol) uhhh I hope that helped...it's late and I'm tired If you can't get it apart far enough, this one shoplifter once snapped the black part open using a pair of pliers. Took her a while though, and you can seriously hurt yourself Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions?

oh, and, I don't know about the stores around you but we don't remove the tag unless there's a receipt and even then we have to run it by the manager because there are a lot of sketchy people in our area.

hhahahhahahaha no kidding. They need to either put more effort into the mall or just shut it down .

not as bad as those malls in richmond. they can have a full parking lot but the mall is a ghost town (mostly talking about aberdeen). the only places that have business there are like the food court, restaurants and daiso.

also my local mall sucks 'cause I live in bum town surrey.
