| | | shipping mini liquor bottles when i ship these (**with a gift for a very special person** ) what do i have to do at the post office.. they always say " is there anything liquid, perishable, etc" and i have never had to say yes to any of those before.. do i have to wrap it a special way or declare that here is liquid/alcohol (a few little mini bottles)? how does that work? i tried googling it and looking at usps then got lazy.. not sure if this shoudl go here or the rules/guidelines section.. does anyone know? thanks in advance!

| | | If it were me I'd wrap themin paper towels and double bag in a ziplock bag. Then pad the shipping box well. And then say no to liquids. I've had friends send me bottles of beer this way so I'm sure your little baby bottles will be fine. |

| | DMM 601 Mailability Quote:
12.7 Intoxicating Liquor
A potable beverage is nonmailable if it is of 0.5% or more alcoholic content by weight, which is taxable under Chapter 51, Internal Revenue Service Code. The product may be mailed if it conforms to applicable requirements of the Internal Revenue Service and Food and Drug Administration and is not an alcoholic beverage, poisonous, or flammable.
| Not supposed to ship it with USPS. That being said 1 time I had someone who sent me a few growlers as a gift and the box was tore open and the bottles were practically falling out. Delivery person just ignored it thankfully. |

| | | You're supposed to ship flammables via some kind of ground shipping method (i.e. Parcel Post).

I thought my best friend and I were the only ones that used the term "growler". We like to joke every time we see a cook coming out of a bathroom at a restaurant. I always tell her the cook that is going to make her chicken just took a major growler
