ive sold items before on ebay with no problems but i just logged in today and they are withholding funds from me for two recent sells!
Why would this happen? The website says i have to wait 21 days?
any help appreciated

It happens for either high-ticket items or high-risk buyers. Just make sure you send w/ delivery confirmation or tracking.

PP usually lifts the hold about 2 days after they confirm delivery of the item.

yeah, I just had that happen to me because Of my selling spree and I was in between amatuer and Intermediate seller status.

you'd need to either ship with a delivery confirmation and add the tracking number
or I can't remember, but it'd be a week to 21 days if you don't. I think the 21 days is if you don't mark it as shipped or anything at all.

Same thing happened to me after 3 consecutive non paying bidders and having o cancel the transactions. Supposedly it is removed after a certain amount is made or a x amount of days after positive feedback is leftfrom a buyer. The hold to get your money sucks because most of my buyers come from Europe and Australia and shipping to there is either 18 untracked or 68 tracked so no one wants tracked shipping
