Hi! I'm Tara and I just joined about 5 minutes ago. I already have a shopping problem and I am sure being here isn't going to help. LOL

I am a mom to three, ages 13, 3 and 8 months. I am always running around, here there and everywhere, and I figure the best way to do mom casual is in designer jeans. My collection is growing.

Hello everyone! I'm Carling and I live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Well...I'm here for school (I'm at Queen's University...anyone else?!?). My homebase is somewhere around Toronto. I've loved shopping ever since I was small, but have only recently developed an obsession with designer jeans. Having a part time job this year is just feeding the addiction! :P

Welcome to AF, everybody!
I'm Jenn, and I'm the resident German here.

So- if I make weird mistakes, it's not to make fun of someone etc, it's just that I'm not a native speaker.

Oh, and of course I have too many jeans!

Hi there, My name is Linda! Nice to meet you all

I'm so fortunate that I found you guys before I went on my ebay binge.
I am a budding denim fanatic and have an ever slightly growing collection. I buy mostly used denim as my measly income and college student status doesn't allow me to buy at retail. Someday!

Its Never Too Late

Hi ALL,
I'm new to the site & I'm loving it all ready. I'm getting some valuable info from the forums and Threads. Well Im from DC, The Nations Capital. I am a shopper-holic. I like Different & unique clothing. I travel alot and I love shopping in other cities the most. The down fall with DC is if you dont purchase your jeans from Bloomingdales or Nordstroms ...9 times out of 10 they are fake. I am not a big girl, but I do have a nice curvy shape. My problem is finding jeans that fit me. My thighs are healthy & I have a apple bottom. So I wear like a 30 to 31....sometimes 32 to 34 if they have little to no stretch. Therefore I need all of my jeans to stretch. I joined the forum to learn more about designer jeans that have alot of stretch and where i can get them for cheap. So if you have any info that will help let me know...I am open to all suggestions.
1 love,
AMIL

Hi, I'm vanity and I live in Chicago. I was referred here from a men's fashion forum as something my girlfriend might be interested in.

I guess my main question is; "What's up with all the 'Are these real' topics?"

eBay is notorious for fakes, so why bother with it? If you can't afford premium denim, there are TONS of other awesome denim lines out there that aren't nearly as expensive. If you still do want the $200+ brands, why not just save your money and get them from a retailer? I love the expensive stuff too but I can't afford $200 everytime I feel like buyign jeans. So I just save up a bit to get them.

Don't waste your time on ebay. Its full of garbage of you'll just get burned. Save up and catch 'em on sale, you'll love them that much more. You'll KNOW they're real!!

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. But most of us (myself included) dont feel like throwing our money away when something can be found for cheaper....you just need to hunt for it. It's not a question of we cant afford it, its more of we just dont want to pay that much

One of the entire points of this forum is to give people the tools (or assistance) to find real denim on ebay and other non-retail-price locations. This is extremely easy actually. There is tons of real designer denim on eBay, as can be attested to by almost all of our regular members' collections

I think this may be the record for shortest membership EVER on AF!! I didn't ever get a chance to speak "no evil" to Vanity.

Why does a dude call himself "Vanity" anyway?

In Canada desinger denim never goes on sale and it is priced way too high so the only way i can buy my jeans is off ebay/the AF/online stores. I have found some great deals on denim on ebay too .

BTW i am Linds and if Korbatsu is the token resident fag then i guess i am kind of the token resident "girl lover". I live In Manitoba Canada but i am hoping to be going away to school in the next year or so (where to...nobody knows!!!)

I LOVE premium denim but unfortunately as a student i can't afford to buy lots right now. It is an addiction though and now that i am slowing making a bit more money i am begining to buy more and more...which is good...for me at least

Greetings from Seoul!

Hello, my name is Yoonme and I have to admit, I'm a denim snob. I'm Korean American and am currently living back in my motherland. I have a very small denim collection (only 4 pairs of designer denim) , but I'm looking to expand it a bit. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone on this forum and to shopping for some jeans!
