Hello,

Noob member here who has been lurking on your forum for the last few days. I've been collecting some 'fancy' jeans (as my wife would put it) for a few years now, but just a few pairs here and there (I'm up to around 8 or so I think). I've recently managed to persuade my better half to give up her GAP jeans for a couple of pairs of Joe's, Sevens and R&R's. After finding your forum, I've discovered a great wealth of knowledge that I wish I had known about earlier, especially on topics such as fit, etc. I typically end up purchasing most of my jeans from Nordstrom's, so it's been a learning curve with much time spent in the dressing room for both me and my wife; something that I'm sure is nothing new to many of the members here.

At any rate, just wanted to say hello, and I look forward to reading and hopefully contributing a bit to the AF forum :)

Cheers!

Randy

Thanks all for the warm welcome :)

Just a quickie shot- Think I'm missing a pair of Diesels and a pair of True Religion Billys, which are currently being hemmed up.

Is denim a passion, or an obsession to most? Friends and family can't really seem to understand the logic in spending a couple hundred for a nice pair of jeans; that is, until they try them. My sister in law for the longest time couldn't fathom the idea of spending anything more than $30 for a pair of jeans. Then I got her a pair of Sevens for Christmas, and I think those are the only jeans she's worn since. She's had a difficult time finding jeans that fit her right, but the Sevens fit her perfect out of the box. I think she's converted ;)
