| | Oy, I need to keep up on this.
I was not very good today at all, I'm ashamed to post.
On the bright side, I've lost almost all the weight I've been wanting to lose, but now my jeans are all feeling slightly big. I cant win!
Nice job ladies!

| | | I've actually been doing pretty good!!
Thank goodness no one at work has brought any baking or food in to share with everyone though cuz then i would be eating it all the time.
I am pretty much eating the same thing every day...
Breakfast:
1/2 serving of yogurt
1/2 serving of oats
Blueberries or grapefruit
protein powder
Honey
Snack:
A carrot and a slice of cheese
Lunch:
1/2 a serving of chili
Snack:
Homemade protein bar
Postworkout shake with creatine
Dinner:
1/2 a serving of chili
Workouts have been really good too. Did arms on wednesday (bench presses,
and also did abs)
Yesterday i did my deadlifts...20 of them with 135lbs. I think i am going to have to go up to 150lbs soon though. Also did my chin ups!!!
Of course i walk the dog every day for about an hour at least and did some meditation.
East Texas again this weekend so hopefully i will get some good workouts in!!!

| | Eating-wise has been meh, but I have been getting lots of water and fresh fruit inside me and I have also exercised 6 of 6 days so far this week. 3 times 45 minute jog, 2 times bikram's yoga, and 1 time wii fit (I know I know it doesn't really count... but it was for 45 minutes and I broke out into a sweat!). Hopefully I'll go for another run tomorrow. I feel soo endorphin happy |

| | ^Psh, Wii fit totally counts. I count DDR as a workout...it makes me sweat/breathe hard so it counts as cardio

| | | I have been reading this thread and I have to say, you girls hardly eat anything! What some of you list as a full day of food I have eaten before dinner time! Even before I was pregnant... I don't get it, but I would be starving on how little you girls eat! Someone listed a bowl of cereal as breakfast/lunch. I cringe at the thought of how I would feel by dinner time. I surly would have eaten someone in my hunger warpath by then! I don't know how you do it...

| | | You are metabolically gifted, ms. Liz! :P
So now that I'm recovering from my thyroplasty surgery (which I had on Wednesday), I think I should be good to resume working out on Wednesday as long as my doctor clears me.
I am following the Eat to Live recommendations in the hopes that I can avoid taking medication for my poor, whacked out body. As of right now, I am hoping to lose 20 pounds, but would be satisfied with 15 (15 would put me back where I was last summer). We are hoping that my hormone levels, esp. cortisol, will start to even out with this eating plan and regular exercise. If not, i have to consider other options.
alissa, I had horchata for the first time in Encinitas....it was so amazing! I want to learn to make it.

| | ^I know!! Isn't it YUMMY! I'll try and find a recipe in one of my gazillion cookbooks It's nice to see you back, Jess- I hope you give yourself plenty of rest. I also think the Eat to Live plan is awesome- I'm hoping to get into it now that I'm moved in.
As for yesterday- it was moving day!! I LOVE my new apartment, and am so happy to have a big kitchen to begin cooking in!
Yesterday:
Breakfast: Fage 0% yogurt mixed with a bio-k yogurt with gourmet cranberry granola and sliced apricots
Lunch: slice of baguette, blueberries, raspberries
Dinner: big salad with fresh yellow tomatoes, 2 small slices of Zacharys pizza (one pepperoni, one spinach and mushroom), one small brownie, scoop of ice cream (was starving after lifting furniture all day)
Workout: moving/lifting furniture for like 4 hours- I am SO sore today, and I definitely worked up quite a sweat yesterday!

| | This is kind of the opposite of what you all are trying to do. Hopefully, me trying to gain weight won't discourage you all from your healthy living.
This morning, I ate
-half cup oat meal
-1 egg
-2 pancakes
-1 cup orange juice
-protein shake with 1 tbsp of olive oil (yes, olive oil)
-1/4th cup of nuts |

Egg beaters and one packet of oatmeal.
**Walking 5 miles round trip to the gym to take my little guy swimming. \
And Liz, I thought the same thing too??

| | Okay guys. I have gotten settled into my home, finally. I had to buy a new scale since all of my items are still in storage. I already baked my chicken for tomorrow, I just need to go to the grocery store to buy some sweet potato fries but I am back in business
