I bought it
I doubt you will burn a lot of calories from it, but I think it can help with balance and coordination. I like the Yoga and strength exercises. If you are already a fitness buff I would pass, but it might be fun if you don't exercise a lot already.

I want one. If I had a Wii, I'd totally get one. Like Tess said, not good for gym rats, good for couch potatoes!

^ Exactly. I have one but it's mostly for fun. I go to the gym for exercise. It's not going to give you a fabulous fitness body but if you don't exercise at all it's most certainly better than nothing.

Sort of off topic, but make sure you have the balance board turned the right way, or the games are a LOT harder. My sister and her dingbat husband were playing with it backwards until my boyfriend and I got there and he was like 'uh, maybe if you turn it THIS way, you won't have to lean the opposite direction all the time?'

Other than that, it seems pretty silly.

i played this at my friend's house.. some games are fun, but it gets pretty tedious imo. i don't really see how you could get fit lol! but it is fun if you have a hard time with video games, this one is very easy, imo.

Darn, I was gonna get this with great expectations, but doesn't sound like it's the right game for me!

I played with my cousin's Japanese version a couple months back, and unless it's different in the English version I'd say it's good for entertaining, but I don't think it'll really do anything for you in terms of fitness....well maybe yoga. I am reallly effing awesome at hula hooping though

It sounded like such a good idea until I saw the demo they had going on at the local mall. It looks dinky....albeit fun. But DEFINITELY not something that would give you a true workout. It seems more appropriate as "fitness" equipment for younger children....a way to keep them active while still playing video games. But for adults, IMO it's not really a fitness tool.
