Recommend a good brand of Yoga mat?

Or does it matter? It's also for Pilates. My current one is 5 years old and looks pretty worn out. I need a new one!

It does matter. My first one was awful - I would slip all over the place!

I have a lululemon one now and I like it, but there are some cheaper ones that are good that I see at my yoga place. I'm not sure of the brand though.

i love lululemon!
i have a thicker one for pilates and a thinner one for yoga, they are both awesome! if you want to do pilates on it, you definitely need a thicker mat (5-6mm), thick mats can do double duty for both yoga and pilates. thin mats (3mm) aren't that appropriate for Pilates because they do not provide enough spinal protection. however, imo, one of the downsides to a thicker mat is that it's so heavy and bulky!
i think my friend has a stotts (sp?) mat? she said hers is okay too

Mine is Nike. I compared it with Lululemon and didn't see practically any difference.

Mine's Savasa - it's extra thick and provides all the cushion I need.

^ I have a Gaiam one too, and it's getting pretty thin and worn. I'll have to check out the Lulemon!
