Ever tried FIT FLOPS?

Does any1 own a pair or has seen friends/family members use it and ACTUALLY GET RESULTS? Supposedly, it's a pair of flip flops that's specially engineered to tone ur legs (and I think ur booty, 2? can't remember). Anyway, in the U.S., it's being sold @bath and body works (at least I've seen it online). I think it originated in the U.K.? Sorry, my mind is kinda fuzzy, as I just read about it yesterday at bathandbodyworks.com. It's supposed to require a "break-in" period, but then after that, it's completely molded to ur foot and becomes one of the most comfy things ever. I'm thinking that if I'm doing a bunch of walking anyhow...shopping, errands, etc., I might as well be toning up in the process...heck, why not, right?

well, that is what's indicated on the bath and body website...i also googled it and read about other ppl's experience w/it. for a lrg percentage, it does seem to be working in terms of comfort and basic toning. of course, i wouldn't replace it w/a cardio workout/going to the gym. BUT, if one's gonna be walking here and there anyhow, why not tone up a bit... i just wanted to know whether any af'ers had sampled it. not many ppl responding to the thread so i doubt it. well, and apparently it's a fairly new thing so maybe it'll just take more time b4 it catches on.

HA! u r right in that they're not super cute. however, i was thinkin of covering 'em w/long jeans vs. pairing 'em w/skirts, crops, or shorts. well, they're backordered @the bath and body website anyhow (yup, THEY'RE ONLY DOIN PRE-SALES). i'm not gonna take the plunge till more research/articles come out. the price tag isn't cheap just for a dang pair of flip flops!!!

I'd guess the concept is similar to MTBs?

Yeesh! imo, either pair...the croc inspired one AND the mbt boost are WAY, WAY UGLIER than the fit flop... I guess it's based off a similar concept...the fit flop is just the newest pair that's out??? Hmmm...

MBT has some very nice styles, they actually look okay with jeans.
They have indeed an effect on legs. If you google them, you find lots of good feedback on them, and the research behind them.

$245 for the mbt's?

I would much rather risk it with the Fit Flops. But I will wait to see if these actually work. I could see hiding them under a pair of jeans. They are just a bit too ugly to wear with shorts imo.

I climb stairs in my apartment, but my legs still look awful!

I know what you are saying. It seems like a scam to me, but I am curious to see if I am wrong.

Google the MBT. There is quite some research iirc.

I was looking at those MBT's. I could probably see them working, but for $245, I won't be trying.

I just don't see a flip flop getting the same result. I will wait for some more reviews before I shell out the cash. $45 can go to a pair of COH's for me!

Based on the reviews on Bed Bath & Beyond, the Fit Flops do sound like they are comfy. I would buy them based on that before I bought them to tone my legs.
