I joined, but I think I like FitDay better so far....

I want to have a sugar-free meal plan, but that doesn't seem to be an option....

^yeah, I don't use their meal plans, just the calorie guidelines. I like that you can put in target nutrients (for me protein, fiber, calcium, iron) & see if you're reaching your goal every day.

^ I don't use their meal plans either. I tracked almost all nutrients, and it was a real wake-up call to see how many vitamins I was not getting enough of. Very helpful.

I modified the meal plan they gave me a bit...I replace the veggies they recommend with ones I actually like(which isn't much!), and they were having me eat hella carbs for some reason(a bagel for breakfast AND a bagel sandwich for lunch, then pasta for dinner), so I replaced my breakfast bagel with oatmeal.

I just joined! I've been going to too many weddings lately and need to get back on track. My goal is 9 lbs by mid-August (vacation time, lol).

YAY!! Now you guys must post like fiends on the message board

I'm trying to lose this last stinky 5 pounds that won't seem to go away, but then again, I'm pretty happy that I haven't gained when I've been having at least 2 days a week lately where I'm over 2,000 calories (I know, I'm a piggy!).

The sparkpeople site is great! I've been tracking my nutrition and exercise for a couple weeks now, and it's definitely very informative, just to really get a sense of what your habits are, etc. It's actually helping me think more healthily about food in general since I can really see in numbers how much (or little ) I'm eating on a daily basis, and how exercise factors in. Just having the "facts" in front of me is encouraging me to try and be more healthy and regular with food and exercise- weird how numbers can do that sometimes! Also the denimaholics message board is fun! Okay I guess I've become an official advocate of sparkpeople

Thanks for the link! I've been calorie counting for days now and this helps keep track so much better.

JESS!! I am so happy you are back! How was your trip? Ha it's funny how I don't even realize I am attached to people on here until they go away for a bit

edit: ahh I just read your whole post and see that you aren't entirely back yet- still on vacation? Well, anyway, hope you are having fun and I'm happy to see you here sporadically at least! (haha I still associate sporadically with the movie clueless...)
