Crossfit Anyone?

Is anyone doing Crossfit? How long did it take before you saw noticeable changes and were you following the Paleo plan that most CFers advocate? I have been doing this workout for almost 2 months now and have not really noticed any difference other than the weight gain. I haven't been eating my very best and I know I can clean that up some too. I tried to cut down on the carbs but found it difficult to do past the first day, especially since I don't have much of a food selection to chose from. I also feel like I'm starving just an hour after eating

Thanks

Super late reply but I`ll chime in. I`ve done crossfit workouts but not fanatically like the occultists found in their dens. I`m not a huge fan of the training methods and the dietary philosophies pushed on people. Although, I do recognize that the physical portion will give fitness benefits to people.

The needing to eat again within an hour is not very strange at all. Any time you start training a lot your body is going to need more fuel than you are used to giving it. Remember the main source of energy in your body is glucose and that comes from carbs. If you cut it out you`re always going to be hungry because your body is going to be screaming for energy unless you replace it.

^^^Thanks for the info and advice. After a semi-headache yesterday and feeling super tired the past couple of days I decided to add the carbs back but in moderation. I love Crossfit but I am going to cut back on it and focus more on weightlifting. I wished I had the motivation to do 2 a day workouts but I don't. Five days is good enough for me right now.
