Morning, afternoon, or evening?

When is your favourite time to exercise?

For night owls who shifted to early morning exercise, tips are appreciated!

i'd love to exercise in the morning, and sometimes i can.

my problem is trying to squeeze in any workout around my kids' schedule, so it ends up being whenever the heck i can do it.

I always do it first thing in the morning. It's less likely to happen the longer I procrastinate on it after I wake up.

I prefer to work out at night. I feel like I have more stamina. I tend to feel a little lightheaded when I work out in the morning.

However, I've been trying to force myself to work out in the morning lately. I try to drink a lot of water the night before and eat something light with some protein about an hour before I work out.

At first it was pretty much impossible for me to do, but the more that I've forced myself to do it, the easier it's gotten.

I'm soooo not a morning person, but if I don't workout in the morning, I probably won't do it. I usually workout around 10 AM.

i alternate between mornings and nights.

a work out in the morning wakes you up really nicely, and in the night before bedtime is great because you sleep really well right after!

I have so much more energy in the evening to workout. Is wear my body "wakes up" at 6pm Before that I drag for some odd reason. When I take a class I seem more energetic whether it be morning or night?
If I workout in the AM, I make sure I have coffee first.

^Dude, my body does that too. Except it wakes up at like...9pm and I end up not being able to sleep til very late. I hate it I'd rather be a morning person than a night owl.

When I go, I get up around 7, get the kids fed, eat, get us all ready, and go. I like to try to be out of the house by 8:30. I can leave the kids in the "Kidz Gym" for up to 2 hours, and I try to be home by 11:30-12 for lunch. I haven't been in a while, though Just lacking motivation, I guess. Maybe once school starts back up

Absolutely morning. The classes I like usually start around 9:30, except on Saturday I go at 7:15am. I'd go that time every day, but the daycare isn't open until 8:00.

Afternoon - just before my work day ends. Too sleepy in the morning and too tired at night.

In the morning, or as soon as I get home from work. Otherwise too many things get in the way.

I like to do it in the morning, it just puts me in a good mood.

The problem is that I'm not a morning person either—the perfect time for me to workout would be like 10:30am (which ideally is right after waking up lol)

Morning + Evening. The biggest tip to getting into it in the morning is just force yourself to do it adn eventually it will just become natural and won't seem so bad. It was so hard for me to transition to varsity swimming. It is so difficult to convince yourself getting up at 4:30 is good for you. Also, go to bed at a reasonable time and get some solid sleep. As long as you're in bed by 10:30/11 at the latest you should be able to get up when you need to in the am to work out. You'll feel a lot better for the start of your day.

Lunchtime. I prefer to sleep, so morning exercise is out of question. And after work, the gym is too busy and I hate waiting on machines.

To really get your body started and going, what you really need is a good workout to get your blood moving.
