oops totally forgot about this thread! sorry.
pilates is much more muscle toning than yoga is. Yoga is more balance and mind muscle coordination. Pilates focuses most on your "core" and creating tone and lean muscles.
It's definitely going to be challenging the first time, but you get better and more flexible with each session. That's what it's about, right? If it's easy to start off with, what's the point of doing it?
