Anyone ever heard of INSANITY workout

My husband and I are really wanting to get in shape for summer. He hates doing regular boring cardio (running, elliptical, etc) and wont do any classes at the gym with me. We saw the infomercial for INSANITY workout the other day and have been trying to do some research on it. It looks pretty intense but also like a great workout. From what I have read, I think it is from the same people who did the P90x workouts. I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this or tried it? I will also put the website on here if anyone wants to see more information. Thanks for any advice.

i did it and LOVED/LOVE it!! i started it in nov after finishing p90x. month one is great, month two is really where the wo earns its name imo i have still been doing the month two workouts (finished insanity in jan) which are fantastic and yep, insane (in a good way)!!! i love doing them bright and early before kids are up. i just started this week doing p90/insanity hybrid program.. doing insanity 3 days and p90 2-3 days. it's a good mix since i love p90 for its resistance and insanity for the crazy cardio

Yep. Just ordered it off of craigslist for a friend of mine about a month ago, I would say. She is a workout junkie, just got finished with P90X, and loves it INSANITY to death.

I started Insanity and then never finished it. But I will try it again. I am doing a 2nd round of ChaLEAN Extreme and going to start P90x in April.

I'm an independent Beachbody coach and personal so feel free to ask me any questions and you can order from me too! Just send me a PM and I can give you tons of info!

The hubs and I are just finished day 5 this morning and it has kicked out butts so far.....but we are loving it. It is a lot of fun but really hard too. I did not expect it to be that hard because I have done aerobics, running, and ellipticals for s long time and have no trouble with those.....anyway...I will keep you updated on how its going.

I bought this last week off ebay....started it this past sat. I'm on day 4 & i feel pretty good...in a painful kinda way.. It does kick your butt! I cant say that i do all the moves perfect but its worth working your way up. You're sweating within minutes of starting for sure...i cant wait to finish them all!

Anyone use the Results & Recovery formula? I'm wondering if there's an alternative you can use...The tub is like $45! I'd like to get some eventually cause i hear its pretty good..

Are you guys seeing results?? I want to lose another 15 lbs or so and I'm tired of doing all my workouts and seeing so little results. I've been doing pilates classes + resistance training classes + cardio classes for the past 3 months 5 days a week and I feel like for the amount of work I put in, the results are very disappointing. I think I've hit a plateau, none of the classes are challenging enough anymore. Perhaps why I'm not losing weight

My hubby and I are almost finished with the first month. We really were just wanting to get in better shape not looking to lose a great deal of weight. We are making measurements almost every week and have taken pictures when we first started and will at the end of the first month. We have both lost a few total inches all over and a few pounds each.

We are absoutely loving it even though it totally kicks our butts. I am kind of dreading month 2 because I heard it was a lot harder than month 1.

How is anyone else doing??

i finished insanity back in jan but still do it along with p90 bc i love the work outs (though i am getting a little bored of them as for results, i have seen good results. i was at a healthy weight/fitness level before i started so i havent seen significant change in numbers, per se. just a few lbs and somewhat leaner in general. but i do feel good and feel greatly challenged when i do it. month two is much more challening imo than month one but in a good way.

does anyone know of other good intense cardio work outs i can sub in for a change from insanity since i have been doing them for a while? i want something that gets my heart rate up the way insanity does.. in the max interv training kinda way. i still love doing the insanity/p90 hybrid but need some cardio subs. also i am doing yoga 1-2x week bc i forgot how much i missed it!

keep up the good work everyone!!!

turbo fire??
the thing about turbo jam is that once I learned the routine, it got so boring. I did my dvds for about a few weeks and then haven't touched them since. and Chalean keeps talking about the importance of music and how she has good music in her dvds.. I disagree

I got my Insanity dvds! My friend sold me her old set. I don't know if I want to start yet. Just looking at the box is scaring me! t
