We just got our Wii and I'm debating on the Wii fit plus w/ the balance board thing... Good, bad or indifferent opinions please!!

The wii fit isn't very good. I really recommend myshape for wii. It has the camera and tracks your moves. It actually makes me sweat, incorporates hand weights, balance ball, and a step bench. It's more of a "real" work out. The Wii fit does nothing for me.

Agree, the games you can play with the balance board (skiing!) are really fun, but it is certainly not an intense workout.

One cool feature is that it tracks your progress for you, but you could do that for free on sparkpeople.com or other similar websites.

I go to the gym regularly, so it's not a workout for me. But, I love playing with my kids and I do think it can be a workout for them. The games are a lot of fun and it's really good at making you aware of your balance and posture.

Thanks for all he replies. I think I'll hold off on getting it. (Glad they are sold out everywhere so I had time to ask this!) I think I'll check into the the Myshape the A4OC suggested. I guess it would help if I knew what type of workout I wanted too...
