If I'm doing cardio, I'll typically just put on an Isis album.

Panopticon, In the Absence of Truth, or Wavering Radiant. I like listening to heavy music when I work out, but it can't be all thrashy when I'm going doing cardio...wears me out too fast .

Those albums offer some pretty wide, ethereal sonic landscapes that I can really lose myself in, and before ya know it, BAM! A half hour's passed.

Now, if I'm lifting, It'll usually be a random selection of whatever's on my ipod.

I'll make up a quick one though:

Opeth - Heir Apparent
Soundgarden - Mailman
Pink Floyd - Money
Isis - 1000 shards
Tool - The Grudge
The Beatles - Come Together
The Crystal Method - She's my Pusher
Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench
Gabriel and Dresden - New Path
Soundgarden - Pretty Noose
Foo Fighters - Stacked Actors
Kevin Gilbert - Imagemaker
Lacuna Coil - The Prophet Said
Lamb of God - Redneck
Meshuggah - Bleed
Muse - Supermassive Black Hole
Nine Inch Nails - Discipline
Nirvana - Breed
A Perfect Circle - Judith
Opeth - Blackwater Park
Third Eye Blind - Losing a Whole Year

and, just for shits and giggles, lets end it with:

The Beatles - Happiness is a Warm Gun

Great thread! Another school year is about to start and, for me, that means a new workout playlist...I may be jacking some of your song choices now (I always need something uptempo since I do mainly cardio)

Not going to post my playlist but it mainly consists of Korean and Japanese music and Trance (Live sets and Radio Shows). Good enough to get me through the toughest workouts.

I have quite a mix of stuff on my current playlist, but one good workout recommendation a friend made is the Amanda Blank album...can't remember the title, but a lot of the songs are seriously uptempo and can set a good pace for you if you're one of those who tends to synchronize with the music.
