Need advise

1) Is jogging a good way to tone your thighs and leg area?
2) Also what is another good way to build your endurance or stamina?
3) What is a good exercise to tone your overall body?
4) Any good recommendation of exercises for me?

Sorry for all the questions I decided to get off my lazy bum and get started on exercising

Yes, jogging is great, but you need to do other things. I am a runner, but I add in:lunges, push-ups, squats and abs to my normal workouts.

You can also vary the running by adding short sprints, longer/slow runs, shorter but faster paced runs etc. I mix up my workouts because running itself does not do the job alone. I add kick-boxing, weights, elliptical and the stair-stepper to see max results.

30-60 minutes of cardio/day is recommended daily.
After my baby is born I am getting back into p90X

^Thanks I have a BS in Exercise Physiology, so let me know if I can help.

Start out fast walking and add in a minute of jogging here and there. Being pregnant I have to do this, but my heart rate is still elevated.

I think it basically depends on your condition at the moment. A good approach would be to start to circuit training as well and HIIT (High intensity interval training), which is optimal for fat loss.

But surely, doing cardio and weights is just one part, the other one is a good, balanced diet. Without a good diet, you can train as hard as you like, but your achievements will be minimal.
