Phish's Dry Goods

Samurai XXBCIII 19oz

I thought BIG couldn't get Samurai's with arcs, so this was a pleasant surprise

For the selvedge geeks

The ultimate test

I'll take some fit pics after I soak them

Ok, they still had an inch to shrink in the inseam so I'm giving them one more soak before I take the to BIG for hemming. Hopefully the rise will shrink some too, I feel like I'm wearing dad jeans when I put them on. New fit pics to come either tonight or tomorrow

6/26/08 Fit pics as promised. To be honest I'm not really happy with these at all. Rise is too high, waist is too tight, thigh is to loose. These seem like they're way too high up but if I wear them lower its painful due to the small waist and I start getting the diaper butt syndrome. I'll seriously doubt I'll be able to sell these though considering the bootcut, may just have to suck it up

Oh my god, are those standing up by themself? Shit. I'm getting a pair from the site you linked, and those look like lead more than sheet metal. Haha.

Don't mind me if I model my process/method along with yours

have you thought about taking them to a tailor and getting them turned into a straight leg?

The bootcut looks huge on those. I agree with iwantnudies and garymai, get them turned into a straight leg or better yet, a slight taper.

The bootcut isn't that big actually, its between my Olas and my Zathan's. The problem is the denim; the stiffness makes things puff out and look ridiculous, especially since they bunch up so much at the knees. I'm not sure how to correct this, I want to keep them bootcuts but the fabric isn't cooperating. Is there any way to loosen them up?

Wear them 24/7 and when you sleep.

just wear them. and a bootcut in general isnt good for this because of the long inseam, these were intended to stack and will drag on the floor if theres a bootcut.
