I have a question and a comment:

1) Why are your buttons undone?
2) Those are the weirdest stack fades I've ever seen

1. sometimes I forget to buttons em up after taking a leak(that goes with zipper too)... and sorry if that make you uncomfortable

2. ??? they look bad? I don't know what you try to express tru the word "weirdest" ..I personally think the stacks look great..and if they really look that "weird" to you..man..thats what raw/dry denim is about..each pair evolve in a different way unless we all have exactly the same body and live in the same lifestyle...

I don't know yet..but I think I will try to keep em away from wash as long as possible
and maybe follow the seawater recipe when its time to wash em..

or u think machine wash is a better idea?

I'm a big fan of the seawater wash but I was just thinking you may want to wash them before the denim gets too weak. It might be the sunshine but they look like they are fading really well and getting some nice contrast going and I just hate seeing jeans fall apart because they were worn too long without washing. I don't have them in my hands though so it's hard to tell how they are holding up. Just make sure to wash and patch before they get too worn down!

I didn't know that wearing too long without washing harms the denim...

this pair really evolves way faster than wut i expected and what I saw from other Apc wearers..

is there any way to tell if they are weak now??

well when you wear them without washing you get sweat and dirt and such mixed into your denim which will break down the fabric quicker than if you were to wash them on a regular basis. This combined with sizing down to deal with stretch will sometimes cause problems. You should be able to tell if any areas (crotch, knees, ass) feel abnormally thin or like they are going to tear at any moment. Almost all my jeans that are over a year old have some degree of patching. Patch before major problems and your jeans will last many many years!

Thanks ,Daniel

yeah..I just check to see if there is any weak spot and area following your words..

only the hip area is like what u described above... part of the stitches on the left back-pocket are torn up, and the right pocket starts fraying with a tiny hole on it...and they seems getting thiner compared to the other area
here is the pic

they look pretty solid from that shot. a soak is the same kind of thing as washing. Gets rid of dirt and sweat and when the jeans get wet the fibers weave tIghtens, strengthening the denim.
