| | | S.Rauda's Evisu Genes Skinnys (10.5 months Update) 07/20/10 **2Month Update***
Did not take any initial pictures or 1 month pictures but these are the
2month pre-soak pictures Wasn't sunny, it was a snowy day and the pics are with flash **Post Soak Pictures**
(Used a different camera last time was a Polaroid 8mp and this time I used a Canon 7mp I really need to get a new camera of my own Like a new NIKON , any ways the colours are a bit different than shown form the pictures this time the canon doesn't show as vibrant colour range i guess :s but u kinda get the idea)
another note is that I made the horrible choice of putting them in the washing machine not to wash but in soak mode, I thought it would only soak but i guess it does a soft amount of spinning no dye was lost but it slightly got rid of some honey combing guess i need to work extra hard to gain'em right back **3Month Update*** Soo this month has been good with my jeans a lot of fading has happened and I've gotten to put a lot more work in on them while on my trip in El Salvador, the fading is a lot more noticeable in sunlight compared to indoors but I'm glad they have been cooperating and i cant wait to reach 4 month. I'm excited to see how much more fading I get.
front & back
and here are my fit pics front and back
I will include selvedge pics after **4Month Update*** Soo my jeans are contrasting a bit more, I'm back in Canada and I have slept in my jeans I'd say 50 percent of the time. I also found a picture from when I first got them of the selvedge so I made a cool picture which i will post last, the camera i used was being dumb and would not focus. So yah here are my monthly pics
Front & back
Selvedge Before and After 4 Months **5 Month (& 5 days) Update*** Front & Back
Patches
Repaired crotch **6Month Update***Post Soak So after my 6 month soak I looked at my jeans and notice the great amount of contrasting, it does not show so well in the pictures. I am pleased with the progress i have reached and am excited to keep going, now lets hope my jeans make it to 12 months
Front & Back
In Sunlight
So I got these into the light and noticed there a lot more blue in sunlight. **7Month Update***Post Soak So i had no intentions of doing another soak till the 8 month mark but two nights ago i went out to the bar with some friends and ended up spilling a drink that drenched my entire leg. so here are my post soak pictures oh ya may have forgotten to mention the patching has been re enforced with bigger patches and have held a lot better.
back and front
combs & Knee **8Month Update***Post Soak
[SIZE="2"]Quick photo update. The conclusion of this months progress has left me very impressed I'm actually very pleased and almost want to just wash them but am trying to hold off, i got another tear because the stitching on the patch unraveled and the patch lifted but i sewed it back down and am hoping this will last a while bu ti fear that i soon will have to stop wearing my jeans so much or they will tear a lot worse :s. but here are the pics loving my jeans atm
back and front
side **9.5 Month Update***
[SIZE="2"]So i finally gave my jeans a wash. there was no indigo loss and they came out pretty much the same as they went in. I haven't had time to take pictures so i am kind of late. But here are my pics, photos were taken outside without flash
Front & Back
Combs & Knee
Lap **10.5 Month Update*** Loving my jeans but have decided to give them a rest after i get home from work everyday so i dont blow the crotch again lol well here's my update i'm getting pretty darn close to 12 months
Front & Back
Soaked 6x Wash 1x

| | | I am wondering if you wear this pair with a very low waist...? the honeycombs are created around your thigh not the back-knee |

| | | they are low rise, the pockets are pretty low they start at the middle of my but, the honeycombs do go a bit high though otherwise the back of my knee is centered ish, and I am short 5'4 lol and these are 34 inseam so there a bit long u can see the stacking. (I kinda like the stacking it leaves a cool effect similar to my prps im prob going to get them hemed to a better length when the jeans are done with)
ill post fit pics sometime soon |

| | soo im at 3 months and a few days with my jeans I hoped out of the shower while geting ready to go out and took the opportunity to take pictures of my jeans and got out and laid them out on the sidewalk tryed to turn on the camera but no the battery was dead so I will takem and postem tomorow the fadings coming along very nicely, im in the beautiful country of elsalvador (for a 1 month vacation) and have worn them hard everyday even got some hiking in.
and to answer your question im not sure for other people but I have ran in jeans for a while now ive goten used to it since everytime i go for a walk with my dog its usually cold or windy (good ol´ alberta ) and i usually run or jog with him, normally my jeans are just straight leg but these are skinnys but with the breaking in they are more than comfortable, plus from what ive heard sweats good for the jeans ooooh and almost forgot to say that they arent very stiff they are actually pretty soft, ive seen some people who harve cardboard stiff but these are almost regular
Fit pics will be included on my journal update tomorow

| | | Ha, thanks for clarifying the 5'4" stance with a 34" inseam because I was thinking there had to be a massive length to get that stacking. Looks amazing though, agree with everyone here they look fantastic! =]

| | so i looked at the crotch area of my jeans a few days ago and noticed a small hole starting to form and over the days it has slowly increased in size i will post pictures tomorrow as i don't have time atm but i was just wondering what everyone who has had holes in there raw denim before would recommend to do about it? (recommendations)
i know this sounds dumb but i have a feeling just sewing it together personally or getting a friend to might not be the best idea
