I thought I would actually take some pictures of my jeans since I have my dad's old camera now. I um ... am not expert at actually using it, so most of these didn't really turn out all that well IMO.
I probably wore these SJDJ on and off for about a year or so. I couldn't wear them everyday because I can't wear jeans to work, but I usually changed into them when I got home and wore them on weekends. I soaked them in cold water multiple times, and hand washed in hottish-warm water once with detergent.

At the very least, people will simply shrug it off and carry on. I always take my jeans photos outside in daylight (in the shade). I have on more than one occasion, had the pleasure of discussing the nature of my unique obsession with genuinely intrigued pedestrians. Makes for interesting conversation. 
Granted, it's certainly not for everyone.

Granted, it's certainly not for everyone. | thats hilarious i do the same thing, but with my coworkers, at work (honda dealership) i always try to wear my dry jeans and they always ask me why. i end up getting in a real passionate conversation about it and how they should do too. so far i got two people to join the hype.  |

I wear my project pair to the gym every time i go. I've been doing this for about a year and a half and not one person has asked me why i wear jeans to work out in

I was always curious why people wear jeans and just assumed they are too lazy to pack shorts with them or forgot.
Remember Jesse, unless the people at your gym can see their reflection in your jeans, no one will ever notice them.
